Quickly skimming over that list, Rodman and Manu stand out.

I don't think Rodman has a chance, I guess I could be wrong.
And how does he stand out over Nash who is a lock.
The fact that KJ isn't in yet to me means he probably won't ever make it in. Tim Hardaway talked his way out of the HOF, and I don't think anyone else on that list will unless they have some marked success in the future.

McGrady will make it as well once he gets some playoff success.

Alonzo has about a 60% chance of getting in..I think the kidney pushes him in IMO..he was certainly a dominant player in his prime..MVP candidate..he got a ring as a role player, but still got it..he won't get in right away, but I think he gets in..
Mutombo..I'd give him around 70%..for me, he's definitely a HOFer..I feel like his defense made an impact just as much as some HOFers that are in strictly for their offense..he's been a dominant defender for most of his career, and even contributes now when he's on the court..his DPOY awards can't be ignored..his prime was against some of the best C's you'll find..his defensive stats are elite..great rebounding numbers..
Kemp isn't getting in..he was a great player in his prime, but he doesn't have as many accomplishments to get him in..his off the court issues will also have an effect..
Grant Hill has a 50% chance..his prime and college career, plus his reputation as a great guy could push him in..a ring would help..
Penny isn't getting in, didn't play at an elite level for long enough, and is no longer relevant in today's league..it's a shame though, he easily gets in if he stays healthy..
Tim Hardaway is tough..he has the stats, and was certainly one of the best PG's for a while..but just like many guys in today's league, he's probably going to miss out because he couldn't win something, which is something an all-star needs(if you're an all-star, and not an elite player)..50%..
KJ- same as Tim Hardaway..50%..
Nash is a 100%..2 MVP's is easily enough to get you in the HOF..
Ben Wallace is in the same boat as Mutombo, but he has a ring to back himself up as well..I wouldn't put him ahead of Deke, but the media might..I think he has about a 70% chance of getting in..I think he's probably a HOFer too, even though I found him to be overrated..
Dennis Johnson..I'd put DJ in the HOF..key contributor to championship teams, has a finals MVP, great defensive accomplishments..
Mark Eaton..he should get consideration for being a specialist, just like the "scoring specialists", but I wouldn't put him in though..he probably makes it if he was a key role player on championship teams though IMO..
Dennis Rodman..100% yes..he better get in..
Carter, McGrady, Miller and Allen are in the same boat for me..Allen got a ring, but he was a #3 option and wasn't consistent..1 more ring definitely gets him in..Miller was a great player, and should get more consideration for his playoff performances, but he's a 50% for me since he never won it all..Carter and McGrady are the same as the others, both dominant scorers in their primes, but they need to win something to make them locks..they're 50% as well IMO..
Pierce will get in..he was the same as the guys before me, but he won a ring as a #2, and took over in the finals..the injury will get him extra points too..Manu is the same..he was never as good as any of these guys in their primes IMO, but he has 3 titles and international success, which will push him in..

How does Pierce get in over McGrady when he hasn't made an All NBA first time or been an MVP candidate once in his career? As far as individual accolades go McGrady has him beat soundly - the only thing Pierce has on him is a ring.

Re: Hall of Fame for any of these guys ......
I agree about McGrady being better than Pierce..but McGrady hasn't been dominant enough to give him an edge over Pierce when you consider that the guy just won a title and won a finals MVP..Pierce has been a consistent all-star..never as good as Mac(arguably right now though), but the ring and MVP push him over..also, playing as a Celtic will help him..

He just stood out to me (as a bulls fan) as I quickly skimmed over that list.
Dennis clearly belongs in the HOF.
5 NBA championships
• 2-time All-Star
• 2-time Defensive Player of the Year
• 7-time NBA 1st team All-Defensive Team
• 10th All-Time in NBA history in rebounds per game, ahead of Moses Malone, Tim Duncan, Shaq, Charles Barkley, Kareem, and Hakeem Olajuwon.
• 33rd in NBA history in all-time Field Goal percentage.
• Led the NBA six times in offensive rebounds, three times in defensive rebounds
• All-time leader in NBA history in Rebound Rate (the percentage of missed shots rebounded while a player was on the floor, kept since 1971) with 23.44. No one is within 2.5 percentage points of him.

Yes:
Mutombo
Rodman
Nash
Ginobili - int'l play counts too, it's not just the NBA HOF
Miller
No:
Mourning
Kemp
both Hardaways
KJ
Wallace
Eaton
Hill
Johnson
Possible:
Pierce
Tmac
Carter
Allen
basically, these guys could solidify themselves with 3 more years of AS-level play.

Re: Hall of Fame for any of these guys ......
Locks-
Steven Nash
Reggie Miller
Probably-
Paul Pierce
Manu Ginobili (based on int'l play and NBA play)
Dennis Rodman
I'm on the fence about
'Zo- he was on his way there before the kidney issues
Dikembe Mutombo
Tim Hardaway
Kevin Johnson
Need to do a bit more but there is still time
Ray Allen
Tracey McGrady (yes he's been an overall better player than Pierce, but he's been surrounded with more and brought his team less, remember what Pierce did bringing Boston to the ECFs while T-Mac never got close to that in Orlando and hasn't done much in the playoffs with Houston)
Probably Not-
Grant Hill
Ben Wallace- was great for five years but the rest of his career has been pretty mediocre
Vince Carter- unless he has a major revitalization
Dennis Johnson- a nice piece on championship teams in Boston and Seattle, but not quite HOF level. He probably would have made it if he was going to.
No Way-
Mark Eaton- a very good role player but he was never a top center in the game even in his best years (light years behind Kareem, Moses Malone, young Olajuwan and Ewing, etc...)
Shawn Kemp- the reign man had a great prime but it was too short and he has had too much baggage both on and off the court since.
Steven Nash
Reggie Miller
Probably-
Paul Pierce
Manu Ginobili (based on int'l play and NBA play)
Dennis Rodman

The first person who I think is going to on this list is Dennis Johnson. There are others that will probably go... Nash,Zo..maybe Rodman etc..
I grew up hating DJ but he was quite a player.. offensivly and defensivly.

You don't get into the hall of fame just based on accolades and statistics. You get in based on your story, too. That is why I think a player like Mutumbo is a lock to make it in to the basketball hall of fame.
