Interesting Quote

This is an interesting quote from Amare.

He was asked about his new coach.

"I love Terry Porter," Stoudemire says to the camera. "His method. His way of coaching is going to be great for us. You know, he's extremely focused on the defensive end, something that we haven't practiced at all in the previous three years, and now we're definitely practicing and improving on the defensive end."

All I can say is KEEP IT UP AMARE!!!!!

This stuff is funny. Hiring this Coach may come back and hurt the knicks in 2010. Who wants to go to a team that only focuses on Offense? Clearly it doesnt work. Suns, Mavs, GS, and we can name more.

What I take from that quote is he didn't like D'Antoni and his style of coaching it suited Steve Nash moreso than he and Shaq. Terry Porter should focus the team around defense and post play.
