the guy is so frustrating..I appreciate what he has done for my team, but it really sucks that we can't trade him, since we won't get equal value..

Thats what I am wondering. I dont see why this is such a big deal. Worst case he is out 8 weeks. Preseason doesnt even start until 8 weeks... He is a veteran, on a veteran team who doesnt NEED to go through training camp. If I were a Spurs fan I would be very slightly worried, but pretty confident that he will be there for the entire season.

Unless there are complications he will probably miss no time.

Manu is not a kid anymore. Injuries like this can take a toll on an older player, and you figure that Ginobili is the type of guy who will probably come back from the injury before it is fully healed because he wants to compete. I would be worried about him if I was a Spurs fan.

Did I say anywhere in this thread the Lakers would win ? Hell no. I was merely asking the guy I quoted was he serious. Dude back up off me.

The spurs are a team that is consistantly excellent, and they made the WCF last year. Dismissing the fact that they have as good a shot of anybody at winning the finals is foolish.

I think they should make a big trade this year to help push em over the edge, but i still think that they are good enough to win it all.
