lol, very ironic!

Cool for Ewing Jr. - I like him as a big athletic foward role-playing prospect, hopefully he can stick. I don't know how much of an oppurtunity he'll get, if any, though.

Pure PR move. They had a similar player in Balkman, and they practically gave him away.

And Weis....hahaha, a player who will NEVER be more famous for anything he does other than being the recipient of a facial from the best dunk ever in a basketball game.....ha, awesome trade!

We trying to get some cap relief so thats why we made the trade, and plus Ewing wasnt going to make our team.

something like this came to my mind but I wasn't sure. but why don't you just let him go if he doesn't make your team? I'm sure he didn't have a guaranteed contract or does he?

Ewing was a 2nd rounder, so I dont think he has a guaranteed contract.

Think this deal goes through if the rookie wasn't Big Pat's son? :)

Actually I read the Rockets save 400K from this trade. We are trying to do what we can to sign Deke, Landry, & Dorsey.

Call me crazy, but I think that Ewing, Jr. can make some noise in the league. He's got some skills and will definitely bring loads of energy and hustle. This might be one of those deals for the Knicks that turns out to be much better than initially anticipated.

I wonder if Papa Ewing would let his son wear his 33.

Rox shud bring Weis over on their roster ASAP, it'd actually make em a fun team to watch.

Just imagine all the awesome posterizations we'd get to see between Weis and Yao...

Would also give TMac a much needed target practice replacement during the Rox's dunk practice sessions, for when Yao gets hurt...
