Thanks for the high praise, treiz.

You guys seem to be such a tight knit group. This board has a completely different dynamic than the post happy Raptor board. It is much more intimate.

I remember reading about enetric's medical scare. I hope he is alive and doing well but it is a little sad when a long time poster moves on.

You guys have an online community you can be proud of.

This is by far the worst decision ever made since Bush was selected president...for a second tenure...

LOL All jokes aside it's good to have high friends in "high places"...

Haha, congrats Rich.

I've been enjoying fatherhood and working long hours at my job. I do read the boards often even though I don't post as much. Hopefully now with Basketball season nearing I will post a little more often.

OK, I admit I'm a little weird, but I was amused by the dangling participle that leads off this introduction.

"After much consideration?" Does Rich Rane have great strengths but horrible character flaws that required a lot of consideration before Real GM offered him the position? He's not a "no-brainer" huh?

Or is it backwards? Was it Rich Rane who had to do a lot of thinking before joining such a sketchy outfit as RealGM?

Seriously though, I've liked the occasional posts I've seen from Rich, and I think giving him a mod spot is a great decision. Congrats RR and NJN Forum.

I acidentally punched jerseyjac when he was fighting 10 ninjas. After he took care of them, he stabbed me in the arm with my shoe. I think that's what held me back from being thrown the position.

:D

There are many great regulars here jerseyjac had to consider. I consider it an honor that I was chosen.

Thanks. And yes, I'm flattered. 1,000 Rane points to you.
Rane points are not redeemable at any retail store. Points may not be transferred or used. Rane points are not used for poster standings. 1 Rane point = 1/100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 of a cent.

maybe you just have a thing for dangling participles...

If your read my entire post, you should be able to easily comprehend the use of that statement...because quite honestly, my introduction post really seems self explanatory...let me know if you need me to highlight the main points of my post...
