Keep this and the write-up thread up. Everything else can be taken down.
I say we just vote for the top 8 jobs done in each conference. That's how we did the last 2 times. And definitely penalize GMs who didn't post a write-up.

Re: GM a Team:Main Page [TRADE DEADLINE 3AM EST]
It seems like Kingz scoring system is the most popular, but if Bryant or Zong want to get other people involved in the voting that is fine by me....Maybe we could get moderators from different team forums to evaluate haw a person did with their team? Just throwing out ideas here, but it would be a good way to judge. I think we need to start the voting now (or in the very near future), and have it run through Monday so we can get this done. Also, as far as deductions are concerned I think it is wise to just have a predetermined amount of points to deduct from teams without a write up, it would be easier to count. As for what that should be, I have no clue--maybe 5-10 points, maybe more.

I'd love to get this going again, hopefully this time you guys won't drive me to insanity and cause me to quit only to come back a couple weeks later

Well I think 1st priority should definitely be given to players who posted a write-up (like say 3 days to sign up?), and then other people would be able to join.

I wouldn't mind participating or helping to get the new game started in October.

I think this is how it should work.
Whoever finishes in the TOP 5 (in category 3 voting) is automatically given automatic rights in planning the next game, while the TOP 8 gets first dibs on teams until a certain deadline, then its open to the public. This way, it wont create unneccesary flooding.

I'd say all that posted a write-up and votes should get first dibs on a team until a certain deadline; that would still only be at the most 15 people or so. If not, then we'll get way too many new people like this game.

Eh... I don't know. I think the people who've been in this game for a while should definitely get an opportunity to be in this game, unlike in this game, where I almost missed out on it because I was gone the weekend that it started up.
I think we should do it the way Kingz did it - in order of finish, people who posted their write-ups get to choose a team for the next game. THEN, after all returnees have had a fair shot at getting in the game, newbies would be allowed in.

Re: GM a Team:Main Page [TRADE DEADLINE 3AM EST]
I'd also suggest that current players who (a) don't participate in the voting or (b) score below a given number of points in the voting be politely excused from the next round. (I'm thinking of a score low enough that it would only exclude four or five teams at most.) We want to encourage full participation, and we want to make the game challenging by preventing situations in which players take advantage of weak participants in deals that aren't quite bad enough to veto but are still quite one-sided. So let's bring back those who stayed in through the end, took part in the voting, and did at least reasonably well with their teams. And that will also leave room to bring in some of the new participants who are expressing interest.

Due to this being my final year in high school, I will not be taking part in the next GM a team game. So if Gremz wants he can take my spot

Jeez... all you "newbies" are so impatient. Look, I don't know when the next game will start, but I think it's going to start around October. FIRST, players who posted their write-ups and voted will be given a few days to sign-up. THEN, we will open it up to you newbies. But geez, let us finish one game first.
