I wish people would stop with this bull. Our owner is one of the richest men in the US. He's worth more than all the other owners in the league combined except for Cuban.

In the 2000-2001 the salary cap was 35 million. Care to guess our team's payroll? Around 80 million dollars.


you sure about those numbers? Not taking anything away from Allens Riches.. but the bolded statement is not accurate.

I think he was exaggerating on the first bolded statement.

And the pay roll was actually about 98+ million that year I believe, which kind of proves his point even more (Edit: Oh, I guess you didn't bold the salary statement for that year, he did)

yeah, my bolded statement was the -- "Paul has more money than all of the owners combined" <- that is the inaccurate information.

Anyway, PA is rich no doubt and I am sure he will pay to keep this team together. However, my guess is that he will do it a little more wisely then in previous years.

Best guess is 6 to 7 years from now. Though he may get another extension by before then.
