That is certainly a decent pool to start with. Plus, every season there are guys who come out of nowhere and float around the waiver wire. This season I picked up some really good players mid-season--Aubrey Huff, Ricky Nolasco, Jair Jurjjens. Last season I snagged Joba. The point is that we need competitive, interested people to join the league and have a real interest in building their teams.

Yeah, definitely replace me. Sorry, dudes; just kind of lost interest with this and don't have time, blah blah blah, I suck, blah blah blah. I'll try to play out the string as best I can and **** all you guys up.

Ian Stewart? ****, see. I just suck.

So we're thinking studcrackers, HCYanks and newyorkgm would be good candidates? I'm thinking of sending out preliminary emails pretty soon, but I want to get a list of about five and then narrow it down in the end.

Haha, studcrackers you were never in this league before. And yes, if you join there will be a three manager dispersal draft. And by the looks of it, each team will be able to get two top SPs, a top catcher, a top 2B and a decent closer among other pretty good players. I like your track record, but if you'd like to join then I want to talk to you first, be it on AIM or whatever method you please. After the SportsWorld disaster you don't know who's gonna stick.

Sett, do something about these:

Player.....................owned by.............picked up by
Adam Jones...........Benny Blanco..........Ben's Bombers
Jeff Clement.........Bleeding Green........Bleeding Green

Ubaldo Jimenez.....Bleeding Green........ClownPenis.fart
Johnny Cueto.......Bleeding Green.........Bleeding Green
Homer Bailey..........bove310..................no one
Carlos Gonzalez.......bove310..................no one

Clayton Kershaw.......Chach..................ClownPenis.fart
Justin Huber..............kg2005................no one
Kevin Slowey..............kg2005...............Sasafrasin' Safans
Alexi Casilla................kg2005................no one
Glen Perkins...............kg2005................no one

Jed Lowrie..............Setterlund...............Commish
Ian Stewart.............SportsWorld.............no one
Luke Hochevar........SportsWorld..............no one
Chris Volstad.............SSK99.....................no one

Justin Masterson.......SSK99.....................SSK99
Brandon Wood..........TyCobb...................TyCobb
Jay Bruce................TyCobb....................TyCobb

Green means they are fine, just go to the first page and delete their names from the team owner, so if they drop them we know they are free agents.

Orange means that the person who owns them didn't pick them up. Could of been dropped and then that person picked them up, not sure.

Red means, they need to be picked up. You know like I told you a a few weeks ago about Gonzalez and Bailey when I tried to pick them up and yet you still haven't done anything about it.

It took me two minutes to do this, whats so hard about enforcing it? Especially when someone has already told you what to do, yet you still can't do it somehow. Seriously it makes no damn sense.

Thank you much bigboy. I made the changes on the green ones. Ubaldo is Chach's, it was done legally, he was dropped a while ago, in the spring some time. I will make a move on Slowey though, I've had to do that once already this season. Most of the red players belong to inactive managers. I'd like to remind everyone that they can't be picked up, as they're still under another manager's control. I will be sending reminders to SSK and bove.

BTW, thanks for the cheap shot bigboy, they're always appreciated.

Good job picking up three first round prospect picks off waivers when your season is over, bigboy. Your team is pretty much where great talent goes to die.

It wasn't a cheap shot, I really had no idea why you didn't enforce that after I said it like 5 times and even tried to pick them up, so you definitely knew about it. You just didn't do anything about it. Again makes no sense to me. Maybe it makes sense to you though.

I know. :( My roster philosophy as you pointed out is very similar to the Yankees.

Alright, here's the deal with the prospects. I removed Slowey from safan's team and I've told bove to act on his two guys within the next couple days since I'd warned him about those guys before. I haven't talked to SSK yet and the usual window to pick up your guys before you're locked is two weeks so I'm going to allow him to just act on Volstad at the end of the year. A reminder that the graduated prospects on inactive teams are not up for grabs. I think the best course of action with those guys is to throw them into the dispersal draft along with all the other MLB players from inactive teams.

I picked up Volstad after I read bigboy's post. I thought the innings were higher for whatever reason. Sorry about that guys.

Big ups to SSK for picking up Volstad right away. In other news, me and a friend of mine are opening up a dot com website pretty soon (no real point to it yet, just something we've gotta do) and I'm thinking we could host some of the stuff off the message board so it's easier to look at instead of having to go to the first page of the thread. Just things like the minor league systems, little stuff like that, with the main thread still here. Any thoughts?

With the final stats nearly sealed and another third or fourth place finish for the most stacked lineup in the league, a little couple notes sent to me from the Elias Sports Bureau:

Trade where it looked like I got owned but didn't really:

I send out: Ryan Braun (.286/85 R/35 HR/98 RBIs), Troy Tulowitzki (.252/43 R/7 HR/41 RBIs) and a 2nd round prospect pick (Ross Detwiler)
Chach sends back: Miguel Cabrera (.295/83 R/36 HR/125 RBIs)

Trade where I assured everyone it was a fair deal even though I secretly thought it was lopsided, but it ended up being fair in the end anyways:

I send out: Andre Ethier (.300/87 R/20 HR/74 RBIs), Kevin Gregg (3.55 ERA/29 saves) and Hiroki Kuroda (3.84 ERA/9 wins/113 Ks/1.24 WHIP)
Now defunct SportsWorld sends back: Carlos Beltran (.281/113 R/26 HR/108 RBIs/21 SB)

So... I guess the point of this is that karma exists folks.

Don't forget Evan Longoria for Homer Bailey. Not a bad year trade wise for you. :banghead:

I still hate you for that trade Bovey.

Tulo came on strong in the second half so you'll look totally owned next season. Too bad Ross Detwiler sucks :( .

No way dude. Miggy was getting his feet wet in the AL the first half of this season. Next year he keeps up those stats all year and it's .320/50 HR/150 RBIs

Alright everyone, I'm going to send out an e-mail tonight but I'd like if you could all submit your final rosters of 25 players (this means if you have guys on the DL you need to drop for every DL spot taken up, I dunno, that sounded awkward, but just count out 25 guys). Try to have your rosters in by this Sunday sometime, that's October 5th for those of you keeping count. You can either email/PM the list to me or just post it on here. Thanks.
