It looks as though FINALLY he got the message across that he isn't wanted here so he might as well go somewhere where he might be wanted.

This was the only reason why I think Kubina is still around because they were going to get rid of McCabe no matter what, outside of buying him out

About time. I can't believe some teams want him even at close to 6 million - although cap hit is less. Still this is not a 5 million dollar/year defenceman that's for sure.

He finally realized that he wasn't part of the future plans, about time. It is hard to believe that some teams are interested in him with that contract. Maybe a change of scenery will get McCabe back to his old self before he signed the contract.

Mccabes gone. Thats a relief. Hated the guys contract. I think Florida is like our #1 trading partner. They take all of our crap. Thanks Florida ! :)
