Breaking News - Um, Cooley blocking Justin Tuck is not gonna work.
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Man, the clock management is absolutely horrible. It was the same at the end of the first half. Zorn is calling plays like he's got all the time in the world. Does anyone have a sense of urgency on the sideline???

Throwing underneath is the dumbest assed play all night.

Campbell looks bad to me for throwing that.

A 5 yd swing pass on 3rd & 17 when your down two scores with barely over two minutes to go??? Stunning...

I don't know who's more stupid. Campbell for even throwing that pass or Moss for even running a route like that then jumping up afterwards acting like he did something.

Jim Zorn's offense ... that's his theme song.

Mo's Final Thought of the Night: Is good ol' Joe Gibbs hidden away calling plays from an undisclosed location?

My synopsis of the second half:

Run the ball. Throw it underneath. We've got all the time in the world.

I just figured it out. Jason Campbell has got to be the stupidest quarterback I've ever seen. Seriously, why did they spend three draft picks on this country ****?

I even said this last season and even going back to we drafted him. I don't think he's the answer as a long term QB.

Campbell took WAY TOO MUCH TIME just killing the clock...

In fairness, I think Campbell's not his QB. I think Campbell's showin he's not in sync with the coach.

Brennan's a much better QB for the dink and dunk, underneath, quick reads.

Honestly, how much better do you think Campbell did tonight than Brennan would have?

Colt is anything but indecisive.

 I'll give the dude a few weeks to get his **** together before I call for his head but yeah, he needs to tighten his **** up a bit. They need to spend a helluva alot time on their two minute offense because its disgustingly bad right now.

Zorn was let down by his own playcalling, which was way too conservative and by the play of Jason Campbell. Campbell gets my "goat of the game" for holding the ball in the pocket too long and throwing to the underneath routes on 3rd down when he needed more yardage. Campbell threw no interceptions b/c he never gambled, never took a risk and played all in all like Mark Brunell did a few seasons ago for us. At least Mark attempted to run a two minute offense like time was of the essence. Campbell played the last half of the fourth quarter like the Redskins were trying to kill the clock, not extend the game.

Oh and yeah, fire EJ. He deserves some blame in this too. Not sure how, but I know there's a connection some way or another.

Well, that was one of the worst clock management I've seen. We actually had a chance in this game.
I do agree that Campbell is probably not the right fit for this offense. If we had some deep throws in there, some more of a balance to our passing attact, then maybe he would be a reasonable choice at QB.
