I'm assuming I'm probably too late to get on the same flights as you all but figured it would be worth a post anyways if it wasn't too late. Let me know and ask away with any questions given that you don't know me at all as well as you know all the other guys.

email is psyclone1982@westnet.com.au let me know either way.

Worst case it will be great to get your experience's for when I eventually do make my trip if it's not with you guys.

@EDIT - At about 5'7 I'm by no means the PF you are looking for for your pick-up games either haha.

Yeah sorry about not getting back to you about that. I have been pretty busy, to go along with my the fact that my Wife may have broken her foot and my 1 year old having a bad case of diarrhea and being generally unwell. I have barely had time to reply to our group e-mails that circulate, especially with all the cod s**t that SDU and TASTIC type.

I'll/we'll get back to you via e-mail about that in the next few days. Once again, sorry about not getting back to you.

No problem NF33IH,

Like I said would be great to travel around with you guys if it can be organised this late but if not no problem either, even if air fares can't be organised and I meet you in Canada or one of the other stops to save you worrying about all your other contacts on your other stops on the way to Canada.

I've been telling all my mates here that I'm going to see my man Steve Nash play before he retires so I figure Ive got this year and next year safe to get my trip done :D

23rd, leave nyc in the morning and head to charlotte, watch the suns bobcats in charlotte that evening

24th is optional, either stay in charlotte for a days sightseeing and head to atlanta the next day, or head to atlanta straight away and use the next day to

sightsee in atlanta - have to decide where we would like to spend more time - charlotte or atlanta?

25th, either heading to atlanta or spending time in atlanta then seeing the suns hawks game that night

Allright...after searching through the pages and pages of smacktalkin...I found your plans...

I'd like to meet up with you bloody chunders from downunders in Charlotte and/or ATL. Can you include me in somehows w/tickets??? I may have an 'in' in ATL for some good seats...and have had OK luck in scalperland at both towns. BTW, I like beer.

As far as siteseeing in either place....pretty slim... standard museums , art galleries and tata bars. ATL is just a nitemare to drive in, so I'd suggest you avoid driving in that town between 6AM - 10AM and 4PM -8PM...and try to stay close to the arena. In ATL.... you gotta get a pregame hot dog at the VARSITY http://www.thevarsity.com/ ...and there is no better nostalgic place for a late nite beertopping breakfast than the MAJESTIC DINER. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g60898-d435136-Reviews-Majestic_Diner-Atlanta_Georgia.html ... there is also a tata bar that features 40+ 50+ yr old strippers that is a flat out hoot to go to.... I can't remember the name of it but can find it if any of yous want to see some big old swinging fleshbags from gals that work hard for their money. It sounds strange but you can't help but have a good time there. Whilst in LA...try to go to the PANTRY on 9th and Figeroa. Steak + eggs + hotcakes...go after the game and top the beer once again. http://www.pantrycafe.com/

my siteseeing is heavily influenced by grub.

Hopes this helps in your travels.

Hey I was actually looking for this thread a couple days ago trying to figure out when you guys are coming into the states. Are you guys stopping in PHX at all? I will re-read the entire thread and blogs to catch up, but again, just curious. If so, I would like to catch up with you all.

**EDIT** I just reread the blog, and says you will be in town. Is there a specific schedule for when you guys are in PHX? Do I need to hit up NF33IH with an email or something?
Looking forward to the 28-29 season.

Frank and BDR drop me an e-mail and we will include you in some of our discussions about certain cities. We are definitely keen to catch up with as many people on here as possible. drmeyer@adam.com.au

Frank, I am at work now but will check out the links after. Sound like some interesting places you have there. Haha....................50 year old strippers................

BDR, we will be in PHX from the 29th till the morning of the 3rd, but we will be taking some day trips to Vegas and such whilst we are there. Well that is the plan anyways,

Just spoke to SDU and he reminded me that we have a spare ticket that we got for one of the boys to sit with KPCB34, we are just looking for the same price that we bought it for, when you e-mail me let me know if you are interested. Below are the details.

$150USD
Section 101 Row A (you can check out where the seats are at the 3D section on Atlanta.com)

That is awesome. Well I will make it so that I am available at some point during those days. And if you guys are going up to Vegas, I might have to meet you there as well. I have that itch to go back... for the debauchery, girls, and... buffets. Luxor has an amazing buffet. LOL.
Looking forward to the 28-29 season.

Dan I think you might find that ticket is for the bobcats game and it is actually
Lower Baseline 110 Row A, you are sitting in 101 row A with SDU.

We need some sort of roll call.

Who's in for the pick-up game in Phoenix? It will obviously be between 29th of January til the 3rd of February, so anyone keen and knows a court - indoor would be best I think, then let us know.
We're wearing orange jerseys, as thats the one we've picked to wear to the games :)

The games in Phoenix:

San Antonio

Chicago

Sacramento

Anyone keen let us know ASAP and we'll have a look for bulk ticket discounts

Probably (well definitely) going to be some brews before each game, possibly Majerle's or wherever - let us know if you're keen to meet up before/after the game(s)

yeah NF33IH, its the charlotte game i have a spare ticket for

BDR, if youre going to be in phoenix, were definately gonna have open call for the last game vs the kings where any and everyone can come sit as one big group (gonna organize a group booking etc)

frank - sounds sweet, which city is closer for you? obviously time is a bit sucky for us, but catching up for a brew, a game then more brews sounds awesome (hope im not driving that night - simmo you can :-)

SDU - your sig goes nowhere mate!

There's no 'I' in team...so I assume you're about the 'me' in it?

Hey I just had a quick question.

Have any of you contacted the Suns organization about your trip to see the Suns? The only reason I ask is I think it would be awesome if they did a little story, with video or something. Or something with the local news station.

Also, let me know where you guys are getting your seats for the Suns vs. Spurs game so I can snag a ticket to join.
Looking forward to the 28-29 season.

We have. At this point in time they are hopefully giving us an arena tour as well as the possibility of seeing the nothing but net program being filmed or something like that.

Will do in regards to the Suns v Spurs tickets, although we may not be sitting together due to individuals having more funds?!?!?!
