Marshall @ Wisconsin: 11:00 AM, Camp Randall, BTN

Post#1 » by LUKE23 » Sat Sep 6, 2008 2:02 pm

I was too drunk after tailgating to even really pay attention in the second half last week, but obviously the running game and OL are very good this year. Secondary concerns and Evridge's decision making are two key issues to keep an eye on today, as we face a much better offense in Marshall as opposed to Akron.

Charissa Thompson. She was on last year too while all you n00bs were waiting for BTN. She also co-hosts that FSN Baseball Report.

I've been trying to desperately find some tickets to the WISC-OSU game(stupid student lottery), but the prices I've seen are ridiculous.

Do any of you guys have tickets that I might be able to purchase?

Your best bet is gameday. I got screwed by the lottery also but have gotten tickets for $10 and $15 so far on gameday. That is slightly less than what the lottery winners pay.

For OSU maybe someone is selling it for $40 or so on gameday, which wouldn't be bad as compared to what the prices are out there.

$40??? i've seen the damn things already goin' for $200...if OSU beats USC it's gonna be crazy....OSU at NIGHT? it's gonna be ridiculous if you wanna go....on the plus side there are gonna be a ton of absolutely trashed people just before the game that might be willing to dump their tickets off for under $100...i say if you get one for $60 you got a hardcore steal

btw....you can have mine for $250 :D

Maybe a bit more than $40, but not much. This game may be different because A. If someone really wants to sell it, they will far before the game, and B. They have all day to sell it, however creampuffs Akron and Marshall were going for $50-$70 weeks before the game. I got them for $10 on gameday. If some jerkoff that signed up in the lottery just to make a profit decides he doesn't want to go last minute, he can take $40 from me or he can put some Frank's Red Hot on that piece of cardboard and eat it for dinner. My friend said he got 2 tickets to I believe the Iowa game last year that was a night game (not completely the same, but were going for $150 easily), and got them for $25 each.

I know someone like you is probably smart enough to either sell it for a ton early or just go to the game but you'd be surprised...
