BleacherReport ranks Al Jefferson 2nd among All NBA players

Post#1 » by Mcfale313 » Tue Sep 9, 2008 2:34 am

that play centers..............

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/4842 ... ba-centers

'2. Al Jefferson

Very similar in age to Dwight Howard, but a little older. His game has matured the past two seasons, and with Kevin Love on the otherside of him look at him to have an even bigger year for the T-Wolves this year.

Jefferson is a solid free-throw shooter, but he doesn't have as good of a field-goal percentage as Howard. It's a decent percentage, but it needs to be improved on."

and Chris Bosh is 4th??....Yao is 6th??????

Shaq is 5th??????????????????????????

Bleacher report is ridiculous.....CB4 and big Al are not Center..I repeat, they are not Centers!..why dont they understand that?

I'd rather see him being ranked 4th in Power forward than 2nd in center, if he keeps playing center undersized its not good for his long term development, he's obviously more of a threat at the 4, thats y i think its neccessary to train Love as the center in the begnning hoping him to turn out as a Brad Miller or Al Horford type of center

Not like Al Horford.... Love isn't athetic at all... He's more like an undersized Brad Miller...

He's built like Horford. I'd agree he's less athletic, but I'm not yet sure to what degree and whether or not his superior BBIQ makes up for it.

Does it really matter if Jefferson is ranked a Centre or Power Forward...

He will most likely play the same way, play the same spot on the floor and do all the same things the same whether he is called a PF or a C.

Its not like we are back in the 1920's

oops, see I have images turned off in firefox, so all the emoticons are posted by name and to post an emoticon, I have to click the name. I thought "roll" was the rolling around laughing guy, but I turned images on for a minute and see its the eye roll one.

Now theres all these posts where I thought somebody was funny and posted the "roll", thinking it was the rolling around laughing emoticon, but instead did the eyeroll and people probably thought I was a big jerk lol  oops I mean

see the center rankings on CBS???

http://www.sportsline.com/nba/story/10977659

1. D12
2. Yao
3. Bynum
4 Shaq
5 Camby
6 Sheed
7 J O'n
8 Oden
9 'Meka
10 Chandler
11 Kaman
12 Z
13 Daly
14 Bogut
15 Horford
16 B-Rad
17 Perk
18 Okur
19 Beans
20 Haywood

I bet GS fans love Biedrins at 19, same w/ Wash fans w/ Wood at 20, and LAC fans with Kaman at 11. And most of all ATL fans w/ Horford at 15.

The articles themselves are unintentionally funny, but I'm not against ranking Al as a center. He played that position much of the season, and did a pretty dang good job of it.
