how will Aaron Rodgers look in his first game without Farve on the Packers
how will the rest of the team respond without Farve

how will Jackson perform at QB for the Vikes, will he try to do too much
will the pass defense be improved on last year

can Adrian Peterson continue on his path toward becoming an elite runner

Same BS play calling as last year. 3rd and 1, best running offense in the league, and they pass. I don't care if GB puts 12 in the box, pound the fncking ball. And then punt on 4th and 1 in the 4th down 5. Run the ball. And it cost them the game. Fnck Brad Childress.

Why didn't Pat Williams and Jared Allen suit up? Were they hurt or something?

That game pissed me off. The packers have all kinds of ammo to talk trash to us now. Damn! We were totally outclassed for most of that game. T-Jax makes some weak passes but then when he does have a solid pass no one can catch worth a damn. Defense didn't even show up.

I think they were signed to larger contracts by ABC's "The View" to better fit their talking talents.

so basically my verdict is the Vikings have a good left guard, a good center, and a good running back. McKinnie is underrated I guess because he's so much better than Marcus Johnson, its not even worth the comparison.

wide receivers are mediocre, tight ends are horrible, QB has no downfield passing ability, coaching sucks, defensive line is overrated...this team has a lot of work to do

and I think I miss Mike Tice

I have to disagree, Green Bay's offense was 3 plays. The pass to Jennings, the run by Grant and the punt return. We had more yards than they did. Neither team moved the ball consistently.

From what I saw GB's O-line kicked our butts for a large portion of the game.

yep, they controlled the lineplay on both sides, that's supposed to be Vikings' strength

pass protection was horrible, Green Bay was getting early penetration all the time, and the run blocking was equally sad, no push at all

on the other side MN didn't get much of a pass rush at all. I was not at all pleased w/ the physicality and energy by MN in the trenches. If we can't own the line of scrimmage, then what good are we? All the money is locked up on the lines.

Running the ball and stopping the run is supposed to be a given, now w/ Allen, Berrian, and another year of exp for TJ we're supposed to have enough be a factor in the passing game and defending the pass too. Didn't really see any of it.

And the return coverage was blegh - obviously the PR TD, but how about that GB kick return where Blackmon fumbles the ball on the goal-line and still is able to get up to the 25?!?! I was aghast...AGHAST!

I don't really disagree with anything here but it feels overly negative. We didn't get much of a pass rush but GB only threw for 180 something yards and 56 of it was on a great catch by Jennings where Gordon was all over him. They didn't have much of a run game against us until that long run by Grant and Peterson put up 100 yards on our side. GB outplayed us but we still had the ball at the end of the game with a chance to win.
My main concern from the game is TJack, he has to complete around 60 percent of his passes and keep drives moving.
