No, my point is that even if I concede that Zach can't do any of those things, and I still overlook that he can be dominant at times, Darko and Marko will never be able to do what Zach can do....He is far more talented than both combined. I'd rather take my chances on someone who has shown glimpses of being a stud, can rebound with the best of them, for the same price as two guys who have absolutely zero chance of being anything special. I mean, really, why not? Show me that Marko or Darko can be somehting significant for this team and then I'll yield and say the risk was too great.

This cancer in the lockeroom and affecting the young talent is crap. These are all big boys. Character is not an issue with these guys, even with Darrell Arthur. Memphis players as a whole are probably too nice. We actually need a knucklehead with an attitude...as long as he doesn't have a partner in crime (walker will be out of town soon), I think Memphis will be fine having a 10+ rebounder and go to low post scoring threat for the cost of two Serbians....

You really dont know what you are saying....I will be honest, that is pure lunacy.

They both get what they want, to continue to be laughing stocks of the league  ! Memphis has no buisness doing this trade, they should be rebuilding not picking up dumb and long contracts. As for the Knicks all they get is salary cap because they are getting garbage in return. Memphis should keep there contracts so when they expire they can have significant salary cap space.

they already have significant capspace. this trade basically only costs them 10 mil in 2010-2011. they're not giving up expirings for randolph's 3 yr deal. heck, they're not even giving up two two yr deals.

They are still wasting 10 Million of 2010 Capspace with this trade . Zach Randolph isn't making them any better . Ok if they can get a pick that might end up in the lottery i would do it . But i'm still not convinced that Randolph is helping Memphis one bit .

He's not the kind of player a young core needs while growing together.

Memphis wants a 1st rounder in the deal now. Knicks want a young player back from them and the pick protected. Memphis is iffy. We'll see.

Just wondering from the Memphis faithful but did he look like he had the ability to be a starting point guard in the league, especially in an up tempo game like D'Antoni likes? From what i've seen he's very feisty and quick, is willing to look for his team-mates but part of that might be his inability to shoot, and great effort on defense.
