Yeah but he'll never match Yao's 45pts,25rebs,5blks and 80%FG , oh yeah he shoots to many damn turn around J's to post numbers like that and he can't stay healthy opps my bad.

Oh ok, talk to me when Bynum does the averages for more then 35 games or should I say more than 17 games, k thanks bye.

But you know, I can talk about Yao's 39pt, 14 reb, 61% performance or his 38 and 18, or how about his 35 and 15, also his 38 and 18, or you know his 36 and 19, or his 40 and 10, and countless others, I'd type all of them, but the list would crash the server.

That's nothing. Bynum is the next Kareem Chamberlain! Stop trying to compare a proven stud like Yao against Andrew Abdul Chamberlain!

I saw a guy that claimed Bynum would eventually be a Duncan/Kareem hybrid. He was 100% serious.

I would say that will probably be his style of play
though i doubt he will achieve their levels of success

I have heard the same thing about Oden and they were 100% serious too.

Wow, good news for him.

As a Suns fan, I actually like the matchups better when Bynum's in the lineup.

Nash : Fisher
Bell : Kobe
Diaw : Odom
Amare : Gasol
Shaq : Bynum

If they go small though and put Odom at the 4, then Phoenix is screwed.

amare will have a harder time guarding gasol than he would odom and shaq won't be able to muscle around bynum, which is the only thing he has over gasol. good luck with that.

I vehemently disagree with the bolded. I think Odom's a terrible matchup for Amare because of the fact that he can be a perimeter player.

Sorry, but I avidly follow the Blazers and I've never heard anyone say that about him.

Well I avidly follow the Lakers board and they dont claim he will be some incarnation of Duncan and Cap. Some posters might have pointed our their style of play but certainly dont expect him to reach their levels. Furthermore, if there was a poster who said that I can assure it was an exception and not the rule, but that wouldnt work well with your generalization cause.

re: Oden, Yes I have read a Duncan comparison but I wont lump all Blazer fans into the same catergory like you. I posted that because I have seen a lot of hype about him and Blazer fans ( which is fine) .. but for some reason when Laker fans hype their Center.. its ZOMG.. Andrew Abdul Chamberlin!
