Are the Lakers a evil empire?

Post#1 » by ChickenPox » Tue Sep 9, 2008 11:12 pm

Do you believe there the only team in the league that informs the evil? there is always the Yankee's, Cowboys and Lakers always mentioned in the same category of hated teams..

I wanna know what people think?

I think it's more because those franchises always have high payrolls with recognizable names and lots of fans jumping on their bandwagon

I think it's likely the Devil likes the Lakers then any other NBA team because he will know who's more hated and the Devil knows he gets a lot of hate.

If you had to have one for the NBA, then yes, but they're nothing like the Yankees--and they couldn't be because you can't really buy success as much in basketball. And Buss just seems kind of douchey whereas Steinbrenner really does seem like he is a descendent of Satan.

Personally I think Tim Duncan is an evil person. Does that make the Spurs evil? Probably, what about the Lakers? Probably not. Just my two cents. Thank you for your thread.

I think you either need a Hug or a role model or a teddy bear or a hello kitty doll or some leggos or something to keep you busy from posting threads like this........... Oh by the way, I heard Jerry Buss has a bunch of VODOO dolls you can borrow.

Yeah people come up
Yeah, we better turn the bass up on this one
Check it,

Since 1516 minds attacked and overseen
Now crawl amidst the ruins of this empty dream
With their borders and boots on top of us
Pullin' knobs on the floor of their toxic metropolis
But how you gonna get what you need to get?
The gut eaters, blood drenched get offensive like Tet
The fifth sun sets get back reclaim
The spirit of Cuahtemoc alive an untamed
Now face the funk now blastin' out your speaker, on the one Maya, Mexica
That vulture came to try and steal your name
But now you got a gun, yeah this is for the people of the sun

It's comin' back around again
This is for the people of the sun
It's comin' back around again! Uh

^^^^That sounds like immortal technique. lol
Pay no mind to the battles you've won
It'll take a lot more than rage and muscle
Open your heart and hands, my son
Or you'll never make it over the river

I like the Lakers franchise quite a bit, but their younger fans may be some of the most annoying ones on realgm.

Yeah, that's pretty much true. Still, there's seem to be much more visible I guess.

Tip - Use "an" instead of "a" if the next word starts with a vowel.

Shouldn't that be the Celtics? They were the ones hogging the title for a decade, while the Lakers were the lovable losers who could never break through.

I don't think it's possible to have a evil empire with a salary cap, the closest thing you can get to it is a team being in the middle of a dynasty. With at least 5 different teams walking out of this decade with one ring or more, it's hard to muster the hate.

If we are, I love it.

There's a reason nobody hates the Clippers.
