Wiretap Rudy F

I know some talked about this in the olympic thread, but it shows what a moron MD is by trading this cat away. You can throw in Kerr and Sarver too.

This could be our future starting SG. Someone who has the talent to come in and really backup Bell and be a more consistent backup on both sides of the ball than barbs. He also is that SG who can handle the ball b/c barbs sucks at it. Even Wade thinks hes going to be good in this league.

To me, after watching the Olympics, I know this was the diamond in the ruff that we had in our lands after BC's horrible night before trade with Chicago that could have gave us Iggy. This pick would have been better than Kerrs overrated Dragic and even Rondo. to me, this is another missed pick, something our FO has done horrible with due to money or coach, they have missed some great opportunities.
Question is, where is he going to get time? They have a ton of talented youth on Portland.

He'll back up Roy, and play some SG when Roy's at point I'd imagine. Remember everyone had all this hype toward Bellinelli and look how he has turned out so far...I wouldnt proclaim him a star or even a starter yet, he hasn't made 1 NBA shot yet...sounds like Oden :)

Wish him all the best though, kids got talent...pity we have to watch him get better on another team

OT - does anyone know when Dragic gets into Phoenix to start working out?

He's being overhyped, it's a totally different game in Europe and the olympics. He's a good shooter but the guy plays no defense. The Suns shooting guard of the future will most likely be Barbosa, he doesn't play much defense now but he has the tools to improve, Barbosa is already a proven NBA player while Hernandez hasn't even played a single NBA game.

I do agree though the Suns never should have traded away the #24 in the 07 draft though, but if we look back between the #24-#30 slots what player could the Suns have taken that would make a impact?

Carl Landry...Marc Gasol...Ramon Sessions...Aaron Gray

I wanted Dominic McGuire or Herbert Hill, so shows what I know! haha

I still think McGuire has potential to be a really good shotblocker

I think Rudy F will be decent but never become a Star. For Dragic, im goin to say the same, but he needs to prove to the world now.
