The hardest positions to fill would be the lines. There very few if any NBA players that fit the body type of offensive and defensive linemen.

Well, Traylor and Sweetney run 6'8-6'9 and 280ish, and they'd be going at guys who are 6' and 300 pounds, or if they were DE's, tackles at 6'4 310 at the least. The biggest NBA players aren't nearly as bulky as NFL players, and way to tall to be able to get low and generate a good push up the middle....

Edit: and those estimates are very low as far as the size of NFL linemen.

And when I think about it now, the best NBA to NFL player would probably be Charles Barkley, he is about the right size, and he's extremely athletic, strong, and most importantly he's aggressive. I'd hate to be a QB staring down the gun barrel with that wrecking ball blitzing up the gut at me.

Glen Davis at LSU could make a terrific pass blocking OT too. 6'6-6'7, 330ish with terrific footwork and hands. Bit of a finesse guy though. He actually got his nickname for how soft he was on the football field.

Nate Robinson could play somewhere, either as a scatback or a DB.

I think the best WR's would be guys who are shorter and thick athletic wings, maybe someone like Desmond Mason. Baron Davis at his best was about the same size as TO and Andre Johnson, though they were a lot more ripped.

No one in the NBA really fits the RB mold, too tall to get low enough, and the ones who are short are far too thin.

Quarterback is way too hard to evaluate, we really have no clue how these guys throw a football.

LBJ at WR or even RB, the way he's built (6'8, 260LBS, 45 inch vertical, runs a 4-4) he can play pro football right now if he wanted.

I want to see LeBron run a 4-4 before I believe that, and he doesn't have enough bulk on his frame to be a RB, and he's really too tall for any of it. A lot of tackling or breaking a tackle has to do with how low a guy can get. Someone like Bob Sanders will just see a huge target coming over the middle and drill him...

If LeBron could add some weight, he would be a terrifying defensive end though, like Julius Peppers and Mario Williams with more speed :o

Yeah, I haven't seen videos (I'm pretty sure there are some out there), but I'm just basing everything off of his evaluations which I've seen from numerous sites. I'm pretty sure he can run a 4-4, he is incredibly athletic, and that amazes me for a player his size, because he weighs as much as Dwight, but hes shorter.

I think they should have Yao Ming as a TE. For goal-line purposes only. Imagine him just taking a step and turning around and the QB just throws it high. lol

There has to be a spot for Joey Graham on the team. Dude's jacked, and extremly athletic. Just find him a spot where he doesn't need to use his brain, and you're good to go.

Linebacker or DE, possibly.
For RB... Ben Gordon. He's like 6-1 200 right now, he adds some weight and he's got decent size.

Yao Ming at WR.. all he has to do is put his hands up, and I'm sure the defense won't be able to get it.. or he'll just get pass interference calls all day..

But then again, he would get injured after he gets taken down :(
