Pat Garrity Tribute: His Legendary Graphic Novel Adventure

Post#1 » by FFBlitzace » Thu Sep 11, 2008 10:31 pm

This was originally posted a long time ago. The original post got lost when they switched over to the new forum. I'm reposting it in honor of his retirement, and maybe there's people that have joined since it was originally posted that will like it. But anyway, this is a graphic novel, featuring our man Pat, that was made by me and TheGlyde.

Note: doct3r dr3, not us, created the Meechpheus character in one of his Brapoleon graphic novels.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Fare thee well Pat.

I hope the team gives him some off court role, he always gave what he could with what he was given.

John Amaechi and Morpheus from The Matrix. He does look a lot like Fishburne.

A team without Pat Garrity, is a team that goes 21-61.

For those who want more, I have repaired the links in my sig to the Keyon Dooling Basketball Ninja adventures. Part one includes a crossover adventure where Patman and Batman make a guest appearence... they are epic though, a long read, originally KDBN1 was released in 5 parts.

Just follow the link in my sig to pages I had to create off realgm to house the adventures.

The threads that the first two KDBN adventures were originally posted in, along with all the comments, were unfortunately lost in the transition to the new boards :nonono:... which led to the very short, two page third part/complaint.

I believe dr3 wasn't as lucky, as he hadn't saved his Brapoleans, and the no-notice deletion of all the old threads saw some very very high quality artwork gone forever :nonono:
