Otis Thorpe,

If you respond to the next thread before BullsCubsBears....you're in as a filler.

Skorff26, you have the choice of what conference you want to be in and the number one overall seed in the tourney. Remember you will only get scenarios from the conference you are placed in, but can perform trades with any team in the league etc.

Ok R33D33 you're in as the final participant and 16th seed due to late entry.

Skroff, pick the conference and we can get on with the seedings and scenarios.

bryant08: Very messy. The Knicks make out like bandits, Jack is not a Blazer anymore either. The deals don't make too much sense and a far from feasible.
Functionality: 1

The Blazers weren't involved in my deal, the Pacers were.

Vintage, I have no problem with what you said, but I just wanted to let you know that from what I have read the majority of posters here believe Tinsley/Murphy for Martin was a fair deal, instead I have them getting Nazr to replace Camby, and I also think most people would prefer Williams to Morrison, not to mention we trade a nice expiring. But, you are obviously entitled to your own opinion. :-)

^I still gave you a 18, which reflects that it was somewhat a good deal(I wasn't extremely generous with my points)

I don't see the problem.

1. skorff26 vs. 8. R33D33

The Portland Trailblazers have empowered quite the youth movement over the past several years. Oden looks to be a fixture in the post and Roy could be a nice point wing player for their franchise. The Blazers may seem best served by condensing their talent and upgrading at the SF and/or PG slots.

Devise a plan that improves Portland's 3 and/or 1 slots while not hurting their future too much. Please note that Oden and Roy are extremely valuable and Aldridge and Bayless are very high commodities.

2. CellarDoor vs. 7. nba_addict

The Kings are looking towards a youth movement but still have one vet they can't seem to unload, Brad Miller.

Devise a plan that helps the Kings get younger, namely by unloading Miller and possibly upgrading the Center position and perhaps the PG and SF positions as well.

Kevin Martin and Thompson are high commodities.

3. ShaqSux vs. 6. bness888

What are the Mavs going to do next season? They have an over the hill PG, another guard locked up to a long term deal, and a wing who's trading value went down after his drug allegations and poor playoff performance.

Devise a plan that could place the Mavs in a win-now situation. Nowitzki is very highly valued as is Brandon Bass.

4. wezbo vs. 5. pistons

The New Orleans Hornets are coming off a fresh run in the playoffs last season. It seems that in order for them to pick it up a notch, they may need just a little more scoring prowess from their wing slots.

Devise a plan which upgrades the Hornets' wing, specifically SG slot and does not hurt their future. The deal should place them in contention.

Chris Paul is as close to off-limits as it comes. David West and Chandler are highly valuable commodities.

1. DGrangeRx33 vs. 8. bryant08

The Boston Celtics are fresh off a title, but would like to keep their run at the top for a longer time. KG and Pierce are in the thick of their prime, but Ray Allen did show some signs of slowing down last season.

Devise a plan that gets Boston younger and deeper so they contend for years to come. KG and PP are almost off limits.

2. ecuhus1981 vs. 7. randomhero423

The Charlotte Bobcats have MJ in the FO and LB at the helm. They mean business. They currently have somewhat of a log jam at the wing slots with Wallace, J-Rich, Morrison, and Carroll. They also happen to have 2 point guards who may each eventually warrant a starting job.

Devise a plan that puts the Bobcats in better contention of the playoffs and doesn't hurt their youth movement too much. Emeka Okafor and DJ Augustine are valuable commodities.

3. sterncohen vs. 6. SimonFish

The Cavs are close to contention. They may already be there in fact. Cleveland also should be wary of when LBJ becomes an FA and if they can support his decision to stay in Cleveland with a nice cast.

Place the Cavs in further contention mode. They have many soon to be expiring deals which could be used. Note that their biggest needs could be an athletic or post PF and a shooter at the 2 that can help LBJ with some scoring.

LeBron is off limits and Mo Williams is probably staying in Cleveland.

4. dcash4 vs. 5. babyjax13

The Miami Heat seem a solid PG and Center away from making some noise in the East. There PG position should be of most concern. They have a nice slated trio in D-Wade, Beasley, and Marion.

Devise a plan that gives that improves the Heat's PG position and if you can as well possibly add depth to their 5 slot. Beasley and Wade are highly valued commodities.

Scroll Above and see the previous page for all of the match ups and scenarios.

Remember any plan you devise can be made with any team in the league etc.

The deadline for each scenario is Tuesday at 9AM ET. Scenarios posted earlier will be looked at slightly more favorably (like a tie would go to the earlier scenario posted).

Happy Trading and Good Luck participants!
