I'm pumped he's finally here. I really think he could be something special with us. Lets see how we all gel now.

I do want Yi's sneakers though.

Even though I am not expecting too much in the form of wins this season, I am really excited to finally see all our guys on the court together.

I cannot wait for this season too begin.

I feel like a little kid counting down the days till Christmas.

I might even have to make a trip out to Wilkesbarre this year and catch a preseason game.

i think Yi's gonna be huge considering the better preparation going into the season. last season he was quite busy and started the season considerably a decent player before fatigue and injuries set in the second half. now no chinese natl team commitments, just Nets basketball. I predict a 15pt-8rb season.

so what do you think St. Nick?

I'm wondering how many minutes he'll see. I believe he'll split a lot of time between the 3 and 4 so I think he'll probably start our 20-25 minutes at the beginning of the season and hopefully increase minutes as the season goes on. If by the end of the year he's averaging like 12-15ppg, 5-7 rebs a game, I'd be completely content with his 2nd year progression.

^^^ Christ are you serious? If that ever happened, I'd seriously end my life. It's that horrible of an idea. I'd rather not live than see a trade like that happen.

I was hoping to see better olympic box scores for him. So my expectations have lowered more than the initial mediocre hopes I had. But I still do that trade, no matter what Yi's production. Better to be much worse than mediocre with RJ

I think that 15ppg is a reasonable goal considering this teams lack of scorers however i think 6rpg is a bit more realistic than 8

Return to Brooklyn Nets
