Re: Official Game Thread: Fins at Cards, 4PM
would you say Pennington was the main reason we lost today? He was down 17-0 before he worked up a sweat

Our DB'S killed us. Chad had a ruff game, but his not the reason. Ginn,Wilford need to play more. Roonie needs 15+ carries and Ricky 10+. Our coachs really did a bad job today, they didnt notice 12 guys on the field, they dont use ginn on returns.

Re: Official Game Thread: Fins at Cards, 4PM
Sparano redeemed himself by putting in Henne at the start of the fourth, I wanted him to do it, but I didn't think he had the balls. Henne starts against Seattle.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Re: Official Game Thread: Fins at Cards, 4PM
wow Denver got frigging lucky
blown call by the refs on a fumble kept the ball with them
they score a TD
then with :24 left go for 2 for the win and gets it!

Re: Secondary - Fitzgerald was catching everything in sight, left/right/top/bottom. -- That guys insanely good. At times, we had good coverage on him, and it still didn't matter.
Re: Henne - We can't throw Henne in there already, it'll stunt his growth; famous saying I know. -- But, let him get mop-up duty like tonight, and gradually get transitioned over.
Re: Ricky/Ronnie - Can we choose ONE back? Either Ronnie or Ricky is our man, and the other is the back-up RB. Simple. -- Ricky and Ronnie both get better as the game goes on, and into a rhythm but w/o consistent carries, they can't get into any rhythm.
Re: Ginn -- Wow, this guy really sucks. /story

Re: Official Game Thread: Fins at Cards, 4PM
So who we looking at with the number 2 pick
malcom jenkins?
We've done a LITTLE better job at stopping the run this year, but its not good enough yet
Maulauga?
Eddie Royal is already everything we've ever wanted Ted Ginn to be
Brandon Marshall 18 catches in one game.... so spoiled.

Re: Official Game Thread: Fins at Cards, 4PM
if you really want to vomit, I believe Marshall went a round after Hagan in that draft
also... #2 pick? MAN, you're optimistic! I was planning #1
not sure about a DB at top of the draft for Parcells, he famously thinks that corners worth is down from the rule changes, but it'd be hard to argue against Jenkins. Could also be a pass rusher like Selvie or Michael Johnson as defensive ends... I don't know if Malauga or Laurinitis will be worth that top 3 or 4 pick... how about Crabtree at WR? Seeing Calvin Johnson makes one drool
also don't forget Vernon Carey is an UFA, if he is gone they may take another OT to bookend with Jake, although generally RTs don't go that high
goddamn we have so many holes
basically every position needs to be upgraded

Re: Official Game Thread: Fins at Cards, 4PM
This one loss hurts. Not because we lost but because it slaps you back to reality as how far behing the Wanstache/Spielman era set us back, how inneficient Saban and his college "knowledge" for talent was and of course Cam Cameron and Randy Mueller Failed Forward Fast.
This thing is going to take YEARS to come around. We lack talent and the little talent we have is inconsistent. At this point, I am cheering for the Redskins to suck so we can get some value for JT.
