Cardinals!!~

Post#1 » by DaDragicShow » Mon Sep 15, 2008 4:59 am

I know it's only been two games, but can we seriously start crowning this team. They just look great on defense and offense everything is clicking for them. I'm go out and say Cardinals vs Chargers in super bowl.

i could go to the probowl if i played vs. the cardinals and dolphins every game, as stated in my blog i knew this would happen. but hey at least you're in the drivers seat on this "bandwagon" the only reason id believe u guys are going to the playoffs is b/c the seahawks have absolutely no one healthy at WR and julius jones is as of right now the starting RB

it's the same old **** with the Cardinals..let's see how they play vs. good competition, and let's see if they can stay healthy..like studcrackers said though, that division is extremely weak, so Arizona does have the inside track at winning it..

Im still not sold on the Cardinals. They should win the division by default, but I think they get smoked by whoever they face in the playoffs. I do not trust the Oline, they will get smacked around by 3/4 of the dlins in football. The Running game is suspect too imo. As is the secondary, good safties but young/inconsistant corners.

The things they have going for them on offense is the passing game, but I have no faith in Warner staying healthy. Thats goes for Boldin too, now that I think About it. Leinart looks like a bust, everytime he comes in he looks like garbage.

The dline+lbackers+safties all are pretty solid though. The defense overall is not too bad, they have alot of playmakers. Special teams they are meh to me as well.

They beat the Niners and the Dolphins.

1-15 team and 5-11 team.

A Cards/Chargers Super Bowl...I can see Kurt Warner zipping a harried laser to the back of the end zone and Ben Patrick snags it in between 4 Chargers for the comeback win. Of course that means the Chargers actually make the playoffs, which I put as significantly less likely than the Cards chances.

The Cards D is legit so as long as they don't have too many coverage gaffes or turnovers they should be fine. With Seattle apparently not ready to acheive yet, the NFC West certainly runs through Phoenix. How they handle that will be interesting.

I was trying to convince some people online and friends that the Cards defense is ready to turn the corner this year. However, some didn't believe me, and just this week they open the wallet to put money on the Dolphins. Bad mistake.

The Cardinals will be NFC West Champs. Ken Whisenhut has a tough team, I'm not going to say they'll be in the Super Bowl because that's way out there. I like to be safe with my predictions but the Cardinals and Bills could be undefeated when they meet in Tempe in a Week 5 showdown.

WOW, I cant believe we beat the Cowboys, this team is looking good. They might make the playoffs for the first tim since like 1998. I love this team, we are seriously going to the superbowl, I feel like we are unbeatable when we play this good against any team, u can even bring on the patriots with brady and I feell good about our chances.

The Cardinals are a decent team, kinda like the Packers with all these injuries.

They play very well at home but weak on the road. They'll might make the playoffs in their division but I guarantee they'll be knocked off in the first round by a NFC east team (if I got my playoff brackets straight).

Not that long ago I used to truly believe the Cardinals were the most inept franchise in professional sports. This was about when the Clippers started not sucking. I've called anyone who touted the Cardinals as a sleeper over the past three years an idiot, and been right each time.

This season...yeesh. The regression of the Seahawks has been absolutely mind-boggling, especially on defense. That team looks just broken right now, and there is no easy way out. (PS: Someone tell Lawrence Jackson he signed an NFL contract.) So, it'll be the Niners and the Cardinals for the division, and the smart money is on the team with more talent (that's the Cardinals, even though I'm still not convinced they know how to properly use it).

Here's my prediction: the Cardinals finish 7-9 (this 4-2 start is an absolute fluke) and win the division in a tie-breaker over the Niners. (Who aren't good.) They will get blown out of the water in their first-round game, losing by something like 35.

The Cardinals will not go to the Super Bowl. There should be a little-known codicil in the NFL's charter that specifically prevents the Cardinals from going to the Super Bowl. After all those years of futility, I cannot stand to see this franchise have any sort of success. It won't happen this year, it won't happen next year, and God willing it won't happen until I'm cold and dead.

If the Cardinals make the Super Bowl this year, I invite myself to be tackled from behind at full speed without pads (but with a helmet) by Adrian Wilson, and you can f**king tell him I said so. Knowing Adrian Wilson, he'll probably miss anyway, or break my neck and kill me.

Someone sounds bitter the Cards won today. If you really think this team is a fluke you're only fooling yourself. They've got a bunch of talent on both sides of the ball, and are poised to actually use it this season. Cards will finish 11-5 and lose in the 2nd round of the playoffs. You heard it here first.

Why no, Pats19and0, I'm not bitter, but thanks for asking. I'm assuming, and not without significant backing in my favor, that you haven't watched an NFC West game in about five years. Understandable.

lol, pnf. shutup.

theyre better than the 9ers and are going to win the division. they just took out the boys and outplayed them for 90% of the game in every facet of the game. Granted, kurt warner is no long term answer. But that D is disgustingly good. I think they'll get in and they'll suprise someone in the first round. Granted no injuries.

Repeat... The Arizona Cardnials Defense is disgusting.

Adrian Wilson should get the rep he deserves. He was everywhere in that game.

fyi the cards are my 2nd favorite team(granted, far and away second), and have been for a few years now. So ive seen em play a buncha times. Im not getting my hopes up too high though. But they are respectable.

LOL your such a joke PNF. Believe this: The Cards will win 10+ games and we will all laugh at this thread at the end of the season. After a 4-2 start there is no way they will go on with 3-7 record. Thats ridiculous and so is the thought of a 7-9 record getting us into the playoffs.
