Luke's rehab update

Post#1 » by Danny Darko » Thu Sep 11, 2008 12:20 am

glass Joe

He said Tuesday that he wants to be ready to go when training camp opens Sept. 30. Whether his ankle is ready is another matter.

"Right now, it's pretty weak. I do exercises right now and my whole right leg is shaking," Walton said. "And that's a light warm-up exercise.

"It's frustrating because I'm so excited about this season coming up – excited about the team, about the opportunities we have. I want to be there. Today in the gym, the guys were playing 5-on-5 … that's the stuff I want to be doing, but I'm not able yet.

Man I like this guy, he's a team guy, occasionally looks talented and brings us a spark, but he is Glass Joe. Just like his dad, he's going to have an injury scarred career in all probability. He missed an entire season in college with one of his dad's same foot breaks and now more of the same.

I hope I'm wrong, but luke is like a 40 year old out there.

I hope he gets a swift recovery. The bench mob needs his versatility

This is actually good news. Less minutes for Luke, more minutes for Ariza and partial for Kobe and Odom.

Of course he says all the right things an seems like a great teammate because that's all he has. His play is horrible. I am very happy with this news.

For Luke's sake it's imperative that he gets back or Trevor will zero in like a 30-R6 on those extra minutes.

Luke sucks anyways. he shouldn't be getting any minutes even if hes healthy. id much rather give those minutes to Ariza, Odom, and to a lesser extent Vlad

they can remove bone spurs, but they can't remove his fragile DNA.

That's not nice. Everyone in the NBA is really good. Some just better than others.

But I have to agree. If he stays injured, more time for the boy I put my money on last year. Ariza.

ariza is getting a little overrated on these boards.
