Is voting closed, or are we waiting for more people to reply?

I got emails from about 3 or so more GMs that want to cast votes, but it looks like I will close voting on Tuesday Sept 7th at 12:01 AM EST

Re: GM-a-Team Voting Thread - Due Sept 2nd
I think voting is closed, but the Houston GM, Raptors GM, and Bobcats GM have all stated they wanted to vote, so I will only give them another day of voting, otherwise, I'll tally up the scores by FRIDAY night.

Well apparently deadlines aren't enforced in this league, so you may as well get your votes in.

Re: GM-a-Team Voting Thread - Due Sept 2nd
I think in all fairness that if a GM voted then on his votes (where he can't vote for himself) he should earn max points as well.
My reason for saying this is that since there is less than 10 people who voted, there aren't many votes to go around.
So, I'll use a hypothetical example, lets say seattle and portland were 1 and 2 in most peoples votes and it is really close, but only seattle voted (I know you voted zong don't get upset, it's a hypothetical example), then if seattle votes high for portland, he may finish 2nd since he doesn't get any points from his own votes, but Portland may get a full score from seattle's GM and thus wins the game(and maybe if portland's GM had voted then seattle would have won instead)
-so basically I think that if you voted you shouldn't get penalized, so I think for your own team, for categories I and II you should get 10 points when you vote, and for category III, you should get 20 points.
Also when is voting done?

Re: GM-a-Team Voting Thread - Due Sept 2nd
I also think that for scoring categories I and II 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 3, 2, 1...
we should have deductions like this: a 4 point deduction for the first 4 spots, a 3 point deduction for the 5th spot, and a one point deduction for the sixth spot since then teams would earn points of (6, 4, 3, 2, 2, 2, 2,1 with deductions)
But with zong's scoring system from before
10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 3, 2, 1... with 4 point deductions for teams 1-4, and 2 points for 5 and 6... scores would look like (6, 4, 3, 2, 3, 1, 2, 1 with deductions) and it doesn't really make sense to have the 5th place team earn more points then the 4th place team and the 7th place team to earn more points then the 6th place team
-to see what I mean if you don't understand from above, 4. Cleveland Cavaliers - 2 (JO and Miller are very underrated players next to LeBron, and should work)
5. Orlando Magic - 3 (Brad Miller should be a better fix at PF than Shard and they finally get a better PG to run the show for Howard in Andre Miller), that's copied from zong's scoring for type 1 in the east, orlando is 5th ranked and earns more points that Cleveland who is 4th ranked.

Re: GM-a-Team Voting Thread - Due Sept 2nd
So, it's been long enough, so I'll tabulate the points now, and if anyone else submits their votes, I'll add their scores in. I used the scoring system of 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 3, 2, 1 with 4 pnt deductions for spots 1-4, 3 point deduction for #5, and 1 point deduction for #6 for categories I and II, also for the same reason in category III, I removed 3 points from teams 6-15 instead of 6-10(thus teams ranked #11 won't earn more that #10 if they each get a deduction)
-I also gave 10 points (20 for category III) to each team who voted when I was counting their votes in categories I and II, to ensure that you aren't penalized for voting, (an example was Mil and Tor, without the 10 points for voting Toronto would be #1 in category 1 and Milwaukee would be #2, but if Milwaukee had neglected to vote, Toronto would not have gotten the 10 points that Milwaukee gave him when he voted for Toronto at the #1 spot and Milwaukee would have won category I, so instead of having Milwaukee lose because he chose to vote and Toronto didn't, I decided to give full scores in each category when you vote) (SA only submitted for east conference category I, so he won't get points until he submits for the western conference)
Category I (the + 10 points are for voting)
East
1. Milwaukee 59 + 10 = 69
2. Toronto 68 + 0 = 68
