I was wondering if you guys thought we might draft another T in the first round? I really dont think Williams ever pans out at LT. If we draft another LT and move Williams to RT we would have re-built our D-line for the most part. Beekman is young and we look to replace Kruetz in later rounds or through FA.
Im wishing more and more that we took Otah. Gets John Tait out of the lineup.
I was also wondering what you guys thought about maybe picking up Alex Smith in the off season. I really think he has the talent, he just didnt get a fair chance in SF and didnt have a line to block for him.

I don't know if we'll take a T, but I'm pretty sure we will take someone to add to the O-Line with our first pick. I don't think it's fair to drop Williams just yet when he hasn't played a game for us. He was very highly rated from what I remember and he has talent. If he develops like we expect, then he and Beekman already puts us half way to re-stocking the line with youth. In a perfect world, I think we use our first few picks adding young guys on the line, and then later look for a diamond in the rough at QB or WR.
