Post#1 » by Money Changer » Thu Sep 18, 2008 10:36 pm

i am curious to know who this team will be bringing into camp. Anybody hear/read anything?

Any cuts to be made(Booth)? will Chris Richard be re-signed?

I've read that Blake Ahearn is the only one so far, and if Craig Smith's knee isn't ready, we may invite Stephen Lasme as well.

I've also read that Chris Richard has at least one offer from an overseas club, but that may be a rumored fostered by Richard's manager.

I posted on here in a different thread last week that Ahearn would be the only invite. Shrink read my post on rube chat apparently. :)

Lasme is signing with Partizan in the Euroleague it looks like. Wouldn't be surprised if Elton Brown is invited with Al out the first couple weeks.

We worked out David Harrison yesterday. Could he be a TCI?

Interesting thought. He has some talent and he is a legit 7 footer who could be a decent backup on the team. Not sure where his attitude is and if he'd even accept that kind of role and salary vs. going overseas.

The Timberwolves are expected to bring former NBA lottery pick Rafael Araujo and Las Vegas Summer League guard Blake Ahearn to training camp, which begins Tuesday in Mankato, while they remain in contract discussions with free-agent guard Shaun Livingston.

Restricted free-agent forward Chris Richard also is expected to sign the team's qualifying offer before Tuesday's opening practice.
