Game #3: St. Louis Rams @ Seattle Seahawks

Post#1 » by Sweezo » Sun Sep 21, 2008 3:29 am

Is this a must win? I think it's a must win...we need something in the win column to ensure the Cards don't get too much of a lead on us.

Will the running game continue the resurgence we saw last week against the Niners?
Will the Rams destroy the middle of the Seahawks zone and find recievers deep on the outside?
Who gets the minutes at WR? Is Koren healthy enough to play?
Will Alice in Chains come out with an orchestra for halftime again?

Once again, I will be at the game, sitting under the rafters with my Tatupu jersey on and screaming like a jackass. Here's hoping it's better than last time...

Wow...what a busy game thread...

Fun game. Really enjoyed the heavy rain of boos whenever Josh Brown stepped on the field. The crowd really let him have it, and I'm sure he's pretty happy with the choice he made.

I actually fell asleep during the game (guess I must have been tired). Enjoyed what I saw. I also felt really sorry for Stephen Jackson (I think he would look real good in a Hawks uni).
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Who needs Jackson when you have Duckett/Jones? :) I really liked what I saw out the running game this week...Jones runs HARD and finds holes where they aren't. And Ducket is just a beast. Using him late in the game to wear down the defense and run the clock out was fun to watch.

BTW I'm watching Sportscenter right now...and if Hass' block on the Jones TD run isn't one of the featured highlights of the day, then something is horribly wrong. That was an awesome play. How many QBs do that, and do that with authority?

Great to see Jones and Duckett have great games. Duckett could prove incredibly useful if he can wear down defenses like that. Hass's block was excellent.

The NY Times does a quick game-day preview of every game in the NFL. Before the Seahawks-Rams game, the preview was simply one sentence, to the effect of "there might not be enough talent on these two rosters combined to field a competitive team." Wow. We have two bad weeks and suddenly the no-respect card is back in play.

Glad to see we didn't throw it a zillion times. like the running numbers alot. I'm pissed no one seems to have shown the Hass block.

Koren didn't play and is out two weeks... more tikki god b.s. but after the bye we might be deep at wr all the sudden.
