Golden State and Denver have agreed to a trade

Golden State out / Denver in
Andris Biedrins 9.00M
Stephen Jackson 7.14M
Al Harrington 9.22M
2009 GS 1st round pick (Top 3 protected, unprotected 2010)
Total Salaries 25.36M

Denver out / Golden State in
Carmelo Anthony 14.41M
Nene 9.68M
Total Salaries 24.09M

(24.09 * 1.25) + .1 = 30.21 > 25.36

Golden State accepts. And wishes Nene a very speedy and complete recovery.

The Milwaukee Bucks and Detroit Pistons have agreed on a trade.

Bogut/Gadzuric/Ridnour for Rip/Tay/Herrmann/LP 09 1st

The bucks are sad to seea bigman with a ton of potential in bogut go... but are obviously excited at the return!

In competitions of the past, that rule has been generally waived.

Just to clarify on that pick it is LP in 09 and top 8 in 2010 nothing after that. Don't want to get the trade held up on a small technicality.

It is a day of mixed feelings in Detroit. On one hand we are sad to see our championship core be dismantled but it was time to let go of the past and put our eyes on the future. 2010 is the goal and this deal puts us on that path. Some fans are taking this hard saying the Pistons lost out but Team GM r0cd0gg is of another opinion.

"Sure we took a gamble but we are very pleased to land a young/athletic 2 way center to add to our revitalised program. Center is the hardest position to fill and we are satisfied with the new path our franchise is on. We have a new coach(Binary Man) coming in this year and he will have an exeptional group of young men to mold to his visions of a winning team." ~ r0cd0gg

The Pistons are still looking to refine their roster and more moves will be happening as we flesh things out.

Detroit Accepts this deal.

Yes, we've waived the rule about not being allowed to trade consecutive 1sts. See the initial post in the draft picks thread for complete rules re trading picks.

Math works.

The Grizzlies accept. Although we lose our only proven center and a very good prospect, we feel that Petro will do good in an up-tempo system and that Wilkins will be an important player off the bench. Wilcox will be our new starting power forward.

Jerryd Bayless $1,993,560

Phoenix accepts. Its sucks to lose Steve Nash but sending him to a contender and getting young pieces in return will serve the interests of both parties.
