1st off those ratings are obnoxious they don't look correct....I'm talking about this chart above.

OK he's a post from a NBA 08 fan that just played the NBA Live 09 game demo that is available for DL in the PSN UK store for the PS3. You guys laughed at me when I said LIVE is going to take the best bball game title this year back from the 2k series. Here's his post...

I Dled the NBA Live 09 demo from the UK store and damn! this game is look so good.. I spent hours in the practice arena just shootong around with the teamates and moving around.. this game is definetly running on 60fps, the game is just so smooth that when i went back to try 2k8 and live 08 they felt like trash... This game is most likely to be the best basketball game graphically.. u just need to dl the demo from the UK store and try it yourself. the gameplay is also amazing, but the problem with live has always been that the moves in the game are limited, limited crossovers and jumpshot animations they are all the same.. I hope 2k9 look as good as live or better, but i just seen a video of 2k9 and damn it look amazing.. but 2k always release some fake videos and then when u buy the game it look nothing like the videos and screens they show.. well it looks like im getting live 09 and 2k9 this year again.. EA sports is stepping it up this year, so far they made the best golf game ever, best hockey game this year, most improved madden game ever this year, Fifa is amazing so far, and hopefully they stepped up thier game with live which from the demo it looks like they did. Good job EA even though I hate u.

Get a PS3 fellow Laker fan boys so we can battle. Bullitt_711 is my handle.

The ratings in live are even more **** up. When I played the demo they gave the lakers like an 85 overall. what the **** is the deal with that, the best team in the league should be rated a helluva lot more than that. we have a realistic shot at winning 75+ (91+ in cluding playoffs) wins this year and going down as the greatest team of all time. And bravo 2k for giving kobe a rating over a hundred it is well desrved, and it should really be like 109 at least relativley speaking when you see wade with a 97

Even IGN who follow this stuff like we follow sports, said at the video game summits LIVE looks great and the 2K series isn't planning much differnt this year, and that they didn't seem to care as well. You know who has the best shooting mechanic is NBA 08 series, but the rest of the game isn't up to par. LIVE will own this year.

thank goodness take two isn't sitting on their laurels and are actually beefing up the 2k series. 5 on 5 online play personally has me very excited.

That's not correct 14 post. Overalls don't matter, it's just a number. Let's say you had the best starting 5 in the NBA and the rest of your squad was below average, your gonna have a low rated squad, eventhough you have the best 5. Live ratings aren't near that messed up. That chart is obnoxious. Honestly I've been playing bball games longer than any other games, that's really all I played before COD4, and those are the most f'd up ratings I've ever seen. Would anyone ever miss?

"We" So is this Josh Powell? Who is this? The Lakers have a realistic shot at 75+, honestly? Do you even know how many games are in a season 14 posts? 7 loses, gretest team ever? If I was a bookie and you had deep pockets, you'd be the only client I'd need.

As long as the LAL stay healthy the sky is the limit, I'd sure feel a lot more comfortable with a third PG that can penetrate or hit the three, but def D up.

Well I guess it's a good thing those aren't the real ratings, have a look at the link dcash posted. And while Live does seem to be much improved, 2K9 will in all likely hood still be much better then Live. But hey, to each his own.
