I'd still rather have Lito on the pats than Asante. I would never pay a corner that much in a Bellicheck system, its just not as vital of a position in his scheme. I'd like for the Pats to get a more physical corner, and i think Lito would be better at that than Asante was. I'm not upset about him leaving, and i'd be the first one to tell you our secondary aint that good. Asante is good, and he has great hands and timing, but just wait, he'll annoy you when he gambles too much and his ego gets in the way. But he plays with his instincts and when his instincts are on (which is pretty often), he can be a shutdown corner, so congrats.

But i'm not complaining about it, i'd still take the patriots front 7 over any other team in the league, so that helps balance out the suckiness of our secondary a little bit. (Although in the first two games of the season, Hobbs actually played decent)

One bad game doesnt give you the right to say that the pats D sucks. The pats D played pretty damn good against the jets the week before. And apparently the Jets> Dolphins, so take that for whatever its worth.

and in regards to number 4, i dont think confidence will be an issue with Brady. Name me one player that is more confident in what he does than Brady.

Yer just still angry that Rosie Colvin and Rodney were doing the Eagle flap thing after they won the super bowl. Dont take it personal, it was all Freddie Mitchell's fault.

It's one thing to say you'd rather a "physical corner" over Asante, but Lito is in no way that guy. He's basically a less talented version of the Asante you're describing. Maybe Sheldon Brown would be a good fit for the Pats? He's as physical as any corner in the league(just ask Reggie Bush and Steven Jackson LOL).

Quite frankly, I don't have to look very hard to find a front 7 I'd take over the Pats. Yes, i am a self admitted "homer", but look at these stats so far this year. The Eagles are tied for the league lead in sacks, and have absolutely dominant run D to a tune of 45.7 rushing yards per game and 2.4 yards per carry(they've shut down 3 pro bowl running backs so far).

I have the right to say whoever I want sucks haha. AJ Feeley abused the Pats D last year, AJ FEELEY, they were only bailed out by an all pro who's currently a member of the Eagles. Without Asante in that game, they wouldn't have come near 19-0.

 I do hate those guys, as well as Teddy Bruschi, Mike Vrabel, I hated Ty Law when he said the only way the eagles would win is if the Pats didn't show up(and his dumb ass was injured), and I of course hate the cheating scumbag coach of theirs. The one Patriot I do respect is Brady. He seems to be a quality guy, and he's as good as any player in the league.

A leg injury will hurt the premier scrambling QB in the league much more then the premier QB in the league.

McNabb is to Jamarcus Russell as Brady is to Pennington.

If both Russelland Pennington had an ACL tear you'd be able to reasonably assume why one's game would be more affected then the others.

McNabb is also infinitely more mobile than Brady, not to mention the Philadelphia offense isn’t a traditional drop-n-throw one: McNabb moves. Brady stands and fires.

Brady is not exactly a sitting duck back there like Drew Bledsoe either. If he loses the mobility he has now, how will he be able to get out of the way of on-coming blitzers?

Also, like I said, McNabb struggled with his throwing accuracy. I'm pretty sure Brady requires his leg to throw as well.

Nobody was more statuesque than Bledsoe. He was to mobility what Jason Neighborgall was to control. So, that’s not really an apt comparative. Again, Brady is closer to Carson Palmer in attributes than he is to Donovan McNabb.

And, while one does need legs to throw, there has been very little correlation between accuracy and knee injuries in non-mobile QBs.

I guess. What about Peyton Manning right now? He's struggling coming off a knee injury is he not? Do you think that's relevant?

I was just looking at Palmer's and McNabb's stats, and here's something else I noticed. Last year, McNabb was sacked 44 times in 14 games, in 2006 he was sacked only 21 times in 10 games. I think this had to do with both McNabb and the play of the Eagles o-line, however. But Carson Palmer, in 2006, coming off of his injury was sacked 36 times, the next highest total he's had in his career was 25 in 2004. He also fumbled 15 times, his next highest total is 5. What are your thoughts on these stats? Significant or Meaningless?

i dont think palmer has really looked all that great either, take away the game vs. the browns last year where he threw for 6 tds and 2 int's and he has a td/int ratio of 20 to 18

1) I've been on the bandwagon since 95'. I aint going anywhere.

2) The defense is old? Tell me, how old is our d-line? How old is half of our seconday? How old is half of our linebacking core?

3) tell me what draft picks we have coming up?

4)A player like Brady isnt going to be altered in the way most NFL players would be by a torn acl. Plus, this also gives time to heal up that ankle thats been bothering him since last year. uh oh!

5) Just imagine what a Tom Brady led patriots team could do to the AFC this year. Imagine.

Your "karma" has a really strong bitter taste to it.

1) I don't believe you. I'm just kidding, I'll take your word for it.

2) Well if the defense isn't old, it just flat-out sucks. I'll let you be the judge.

3) I don't know, I just know the Eagles have two first round picks(they don't lose additional picks due to cheating) as well as other additional draft picks.

4) You'll find out. It's not about the athletic ability, it's about the confidence in the leg, the ability to plant, as well as the ability to allude the pass rush.

5) They'd probably choke, like they did last year. But quite frankly, i didn't think they'd be that great anyway. They would have gotten their asses handed to them by a complete team.

You're the guy who claimed after Asante Samuel signed with the Eagles, and it was rumored that Lito Sheppard might go to the Pats that you'd "way rather have Sheppard anyway". Well, guess what? Asante has two picks and he's second in the league in passes defensed, while Lito is the Eagles nickel back(of course, he'd be far and away the best corner on the Pats, but that's another story). That sounds like the type of response someone who felt jilted that someone left their team would make. Therefore you = the bitter one.

Nice screen name, doesn't make you look like a jackass at all

Oh, and losing to cheaters isn't "choking", it's getting jobbed by an unfair playing field.
