Here is some Risdon for the kids at home..

Minnesota (21) at Tennessee (3): The Titans defense has dominated thus far, and they present an interesting challenge to the Vikings. Minnesota is built to win by running wild with Adrian Peterson and Chester Taylor, and stopping the opponent from doing the same. But the Tennessee defense aggressively attacks the run, and their excellent LBs often get clean shots at ballcarriers thanks to the best DL in football. That means the Vikings will have to throw to win, and I don’t trust Gus Frerotte to beat the opportunistic Titans secondary, certainly not with the WRs at his disposal. Kerry Collins and the Tennessee offense will find equally tough sledding against a Vikings D that also features great LB play behind a dominant DL. But I do trust Collins to make less mistakes than Frerotte, and I also like K Rod Bironas at home. Titans in a game that screams for you to bet the under, 16-13.

both like to run the ball, both are great defenses that stop the run well
good matchup
i think which ever team imposes their will and runs the ball better will win

and AP has to be due to break a couple long ones

well after listening to some experts, seems like not a lot of people are giving the vikings a chance, with tenn's defense being so good
a very important part of the game is keeping Gus upright so he can do what he needs to, to win the game

defense can't let tenn, score any easy touchdowns, make collins try and beat us, just like they should try and have Gus beat them

I'm inclined to agree with you on that. Just hope that it's the Titans impose their will to win this game.

AP just scored for the Vikes in the early second quarter.

two fumbles, berrian dropped a TD, missed FG

vikes had chances just need to capitalize, and minimize mistakes and get back into this
give AP the ball and see if he can atone for his fumble

The Vikes took advantage of the penalty by KVB in the endzone. Was the call against KVB warrented, it's a close call. It wasn't like he laid Ferrotte out intentionally. As a result, the Vikes got new life and AP put in another 6pts on the boards. Really the guy the Vikes had for consistancy outside of AP is the former Titan Bobby Wade. He's been the Vikes consistant WR today. right now, I'm lookin for the Titans to get back to playin better offense and keep the clock as the Vikes enemy.

and tavaris was a deer in the head lights for his 3 plays, man i hope gus will be ok for next week

peterson scored twice which is good, but wr's are still dropping balls, visante caught some though, but he's obviously been hanging around berrian too much

Two steps, then he hit Ferotte in the knees. That gets called everytime. Intention doesn't matter.

That O-line at the end was unacceptable. How do you let your QB down like that? Did they give up? Frerotte got jacked up out there, terrible. T-Jax got sacked two times in a row too. They need to be slapped. Bradley needs to come down on people. I'm also tired of the WR getting free passes. These guys are screwing up too much.

4-1 in turnovers -- not going to beat the local junior high with that, let alone a quality NFL team. I don't think we got outplayed, we just gifted the game away on a silver platter. Again.

good thing: teams don't beat us
bad thing: we beat ourselves

after 4 games all against tough teams, it's clear to me that we won't go far this season. ok, we can win the division and make the play-offs, but have no say to go further.

turnovers and penalties killed us in 3 games, and did so yesterday. i'm happy with the defense, even so i expected more pressure on the QB...our d-line has to do more...

our WR corp is just pathetic. in every other game and every other team as better recievers...not once do they help our QBs. it's pathetic. other than perfect balls, they don't catch anything. and again, the play-calling was very bad. it's the offense that looses our games. NOW is the time to start a little winning series. we should be able to win all our game to the bye, and if we do that, we don't look that bad.

but it could very well be, that we keep on loosing. sad, when you have a defense like we have and aren't able to score points. i don't call for childress head, but gosh, will he be gone if we miss the play-offs?

one thing: the titans are for real. their defense is the best i've seen so far this season. not one weakness, incredible defensive line and well above average secondary. they are monsters. i've been a fan of jeff fisher since he's in the league, and this game once again proved it: his teams are just ready to play, all the time, all the downs. but, they won't get far, because they don't have enough weapons on the offensive side of the ball. they can only hope that Vince does not return too early.

another thing: saw the skins beating the cowboys, and it proved what i suspected: when faced we a capable defense, their offense is exposed. they are so overrated.

Rams got rid of Linehan; if the Vikes lose next week, Zygi has to follow suit.

we're not bad as the rams, they are in a horrible mess right now
i'm not ready to give up on the season yet, we can't play worse then we are right now
