Cardinals @ Jets

Stop the presses, the streak is coming to an end. Well that might not be true as it appears that Favre will be fine to go for this game, this is a game where the two starting QB's might actually get a discount at the movie theaters. We have a battle of Warner and Favre, two graybeards that can put up stats with the best of them. One team is trying to prove that they are more then just hype while the other team is trying to stop a two game losing skid. There are quite a few things to look into this game, lets take a look at a few of them.

Jets Secondary vs The Elite
Everyone knows that the Cards boast the best 1-2 punch when it comes to WR's. Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin should test both corners this week, more importantly see what we got in Dwight Lowery. Last week Lowery got beat on two plays for the first time this season, well this week this will switch off often and test him all day long. Revis appears to be what he is, an elite corner.

Pass Rush vs Warner
All those knocks on Warner throughout the years that he fumbles to much, holds onto the ball for to long while looking down field are still true. Warner is also a notorious fast starter in games, meaning we need to get to him and early. We have Pace who is facing his old team, Thomas who was quiet last week and a bunch of other blitzes we need to utilize. For the past three season Rhodes has lead the NFL in sacks from the secondary, its time to start using him. Though the Jets will be hesitant leaving both Revis and Lowery in man on man coverage. Meaning the Linebacking core this game needs to step it up.

Paging Thomas Jones
The Cardinals are giving up 105 yards rushing on the ground, the Jets Rushing attack has looked anemic. We paid Woody and Faneca in the offseason to improve on this, well its time to step up. The Cardinals will be without Berry, one of there better defense players on the defense and on the line. We need to attack that side and finally take some pressure off Favre from making all the big plays.

There are certainly a lot more to watch for in this game, but lets see how it plays out on Sunday.
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.

I don't know what happened to our defense in the 2nd half but our offense flushed that conservative playbook down the toilet.

fun game to watch.. 4th and 5 and 4th and 1 we go for it and get 30+ yard TD throws.. LOL.. wow!!

second half we played prevent a lot, but you can't do that with the cardinals... I am glad boldin is OK, that was just one meaningless play, the cardinals should have ran the clock down. game was over!!!

Revis once again had an outstanding game. Cards weren't throwing at him at all. When they did, well, you know the story. Sadly INTs matter a lot for people making the pro bowl, but so far, Revis looks to get some soldi numbers throughout the year...

Our run defense is now 5th in the NFL... thank god Jenkins played and is ok. I think they just saved him in the second half with the game out of hand.
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies...

Don't forget Lowery. This rookie is being test by fire and so far proven himself. Again.., I'm angry about that 2nd half but.., I kind of understand being that we was up 34 to Zip. This is where I have to take it back to the "killer instinct" that the Jets haven't yet proved they have.

Favre got it. There's no question about it (god its great to have a gunslinger back there) but., the rest of our team.., I don't know about. 56 points!!!!!

I've been on the THjr bandwagon since summer league, and I would trade him for Rondo. IMO Rondo is the third best PG in the NBA after Curry and CP3.
I doubt anything happens though.

Jenkins is a beast, I absolutely love him, great acquisition by our front office.
