Yeah we got 4 players on the top 50. Pretty neat, although I might not agree on the positions

terrible rankings. Odom ahead of Al Jeff, Iguodala, Marion, Durant, Turk, Artest, etc?

I really don't understand how these rankings are deemed worthy of valuable web space.

Some of those guys you mentioned aren't head over heels better than Lamar. And some are arguably worse. Not defending the rankings exactly, I was surprised to find Odom so high...but then again he could be a top talent....eff Lamar is just fools gold. Who knows.

Those rankings are absolutely a joke... Don't get me wroing, I love the love but they simply aren't correct... Bynum is getting too much love... LO isn't even a top 10 SF... Melo, Artest, Marion, Howard, Deng, LBJ, Maggette, Butler, AK47 & Pierce are all BETTER SF's in my opinion... LO is a solid player but let's be realistic...

Odom might be ranked much too high to some, but let's also not forget that the rest of the world see Odom in a different light than Lakers fans do. Lakers fans see him as the return for Shaq and judge his performance based on their lingering disgruntled vibe from the memories of that trade.

NBA "experts", coaches, players etc typically rate Odom much higher than we do here. I'm not saying that he should be that high up, but he also shouldn't be as low down as Lakers fans would put him. Worth keeping in mind.

Yeah, that list isn't exactly dead-on. Just read it.

Every time I see Caron Butler's name, it irks me that he isn't a Laker.

I don't have a problem with the ranking. No. 36 seems fair for a double-double big man, which don't exactly grow on trees. But the comment they used to describe Gasol -- he is pretty darn good, but you keep wanting him to be a little bit better -- should instead be applied to Odom. This sums him up to a T. He is a fine player, and I appreciate his contributions. But I'm never sure exactly what he's going to give us on a nightly basis. Especially now, with him needing to find a new niche for himself now that we have both Gasol and a healthy Bynum.

Not to me. Caron doesn't show up in playoffs.

I'd rather have Butler than Odom.

How can you put a rookie in there when he hasn't even played an NBA game yet? No dis-respect to Oden, but seriously?
