just wanted to know a few questions concerning your team

1.say if your team have another bad season, who do you think would be the on the block come trade deadline?(between emeka,g-force or j-rich)

2.who is really your franchise player?

3.do you expect sean may to have a solid season coming back from an injury or?

1. Wallace

2. Up till this point its been Okafor, but with the leadership and dedication on and especially OFF the court that Richardson has shown he definitely deserves and has this title.

3. I doubt anyone on this board realistically expects him to play more than 50 games.

thanks...but do you think if your team have a bad season, that there is still a chance that okafor can be traded even though he re-sign for a long-term contract?

btw,good luck this season

Okafor isn't going anywhere, especially since we've got him locked in at a good rate for what he gets us.

1 Gerald Wallace. Okafors a pretty good big and...
2 ...Richardson is our franchise player
3 As far as Sean May. I don't think anyone really expects anything from him. 50 games played this season, would honestly shock me.

50 games to me would be a relative success for Cookie...

15-20 is more likely...

Eventual 6th man, unless say Wallace gets traded...then starter. I think Morrison will benefit the most from Larry now being the head coach.

I'm sure Morrison will play almost every game, but I'd be surprised if he gets more than 15mpg. Carroll and Dudley are both better than him and play the same position, and are both behind JRich/Wallace, who will probably play ~37mpg.

I can see the argument that Morrison fills the Rip Hamilton role on offense, but Rip isn't a complete sieve on defense the way Ammo is. Rip is also better than Morrison at literally everything, so I'd be very surprised to see him emerge as a starter even if we do trade Wallace.

By eventual, i meant down the road (next season?). To me thats his upside. As far as starter, thats only if Wallace is traded. Dudley could start, but hey I'm guessing...and then what Matt? no.

Interesting that LB has put Ammo in with the "core" group and Duds in with the "other" group...for lack of a better description.

Maybe LB is trying to help out MJ's reputation.

I think LB has to try and get these guys going early, to see what he's got (in Ammo and McMay) and what trade value he might coax out of a stupid team somewhere.

It's a shame Portland is doing so well, with all those young players, that they wouldn't likely take their homeboy back to the NW to sell some tickets. Ammo's 6th man role will be a limited one if he can't defend....LB will not tolerate Ole' D. He has no chance to be a starter. LB says he's in better shape now but came in in poor condition. That doesn't bode well for his future this year.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Return to Charlotte Hornets
