Our offense was pretty consistent all year, but Fukudome was not as you mentioned. I have a problem with him hitting second tonight. Theriot pretty much has hit second all year.

Theriot was slumping until Lou slid him back in the order though, from what I remember. He tore it up the last week or so of the season so maybe Lou's hoping for more of the same.

I guess the Cubs deserve the non-sense pieces ESPN does on the "Cubs' curse" when they do things like this and just give the national media more ammunition.

**** Fukudome. He had all season to prove he could hit.

You know who's a good hitter? Mike Fontenot. He only put up a .909 OPS this season, almost 200 points better than Fukudome.

Put DeRosa in RF and start Fontenot. He's one of our best hitters, he needs to play in the playoffs.

Perhaps DeRosa's calf is not healthy. But I agree Fontenot should be playing.
