He's a post-padder.

i'll be a post-padder..that's cool i can accept that, it's not a bad thing... better than someone writing some boring/all ready said paragraph about their view on the lakers SF position..

You know what, I don't know who/what you're taking shots at, but I'll happy to dissolve this issue on my side.

In other words - we're okay.

(I wasn't in the mood to hear any lazy-smartass comments yesterday.) :-?

I feel that it is good we released lane kiffin, mainly due to his passive style of coaching, but the problem is Al Davis now.
As bad as this sounds, he needs to pass away. With him behind the scenes, we will be stuck in the pass. We must let Jamarcus unleash the beast within (haha) and shake up the roster with a trade for a good WR.
The defense is good, the offense is getting there, and the Special teams is there (haha Johnny Lee Higgens, need I say more?)
As for you tony, i can't help but feel how you do. Every week watching the Raiders pull it out, and then drop it in the 4th quarter. Keep faith though, what goes down will come back up.
Look at us of course. 10th pick for bynum, now championship contenders. Tom Cable too is a pretty good coach. Not a great choice in my opinion, as I would have Rib Ryan since he has a more smashmouth physical aspect of coaching, but Cable himself has done wonders to our line, even though it broke down in the last game.

All in all, keep faith, and trust me, when Al Davis expires, which is imminent, it will be time to reap the benefits.

If I can wager a guess, he brought up Cubs fans to illustrate a group that has remained loyal through all manner of disappointments and setbacks. As in, if they can remain loyal to a team that has made losing an art form, then so can Tony with the Raiders.

oh, well we're a strange breed, cubs fans

and i don't have any problem with being fed up with a team, especially in the raiders case where Al Davis is a real problem, the Cubs i don't think ever had a bad owner, they have just been not good

Yeah, it's not a direct comparison, but nonetheless, there have been some awful lean years at Wrigley.

Be it bad luck or bad management, I support anybody's right to give their team the middle finger for repeatedly failing to put a winner on the field. Especially one that has been blatantly mishandled like the Raiders have. It's just too expensive nowadays to expect anything less than the best.

Don't worry Tony just stick with 'em. I know how you feel, I'm a big Miami Dolphins fan. And the word "frustrated" doesn't even begin to describe my sentiments about personnel decisions the organization has made since Marino retired. It's just one bad decision after another and it keeps on piling up. I don't need to remind you that we almost went completely defeated last year. I know how you feel though. You invest so much hope and yourself into a certain team and management just completely makes bad decisions after bad decisions that you get let down every year and eventually you're just sick of all the disappointment. Trust me I know. But by letting it affect you like this shows you that you really do care about the team. Or else you wouldn't be hurt as much as you are year after year. Just stick with 'em. It'll make it that much sweeter when they eventually turn the corner. In the meantime. I find it helpful to manage your expectations for the year. Especially with management like the the Raiders and the Dolphins. Just manage your expectations and try to ride out the bad times. That's what I'm doing.

And the worst part is, while incompetent players and coaches will eventually be given their walking players, what can you really do to get rid of a terrible owner? Other than hitting them where it counts -- their wallets -- you have no recourse. Otherwise you have to keep eating the same **** sandwich.
