He seems like a fun kid. Let's hope he can play (one day) like the PF we are all longing for!!

Re: Getting to know Alexis
I really hope people in Charlotte give this kid some time. I think most of the Mark Packers of the world don't understand that 20-year-olds don't usually step into the NBA and dominate. Its hard enough to get used to the NBA. He also has to learn a new culture and a new language.
I'm doing the same thing (well, no NBA) in Mexico right now and If you've never had to do it you can't understand. Sometimes every little thing is difficult. Getting laundry done, Getting groceries, everything can be an ordeal.
From what I've seen the kid is a legit 7-1, maybe 7-2. Has a VERY soft touch, out to 3-point range. Runs like a gazelle, and is a natural Shot-blocker.
Not bad value for what wasn't even a lottery pick....
I'm cheering HARD for Alexis, partly because I identify with him and partly because I want Mark Packer to look like an idiot.

He definitely needs to gain weight and put on some muscle mass. He looks so fragile like he could easily break in half.

You guys missed the best part - from ofiicial Bobcats website
ROFL, it made my day.
Special thanks to rookie Alexis Ajinca who continues to mess with me in camp. I think it’s because he didn’t want me to let anyone know he’s carrying around a My Little Pony bag in camp, but Ajinca continues to show the youthful energy of a 20-year-old kid. You might notice the camera shaking a bit early on in D.J. Augustin’s third rookie diary, thanks to the fact that Alexis had a grand old time sticking his fingers in my ear, taking off my cap and covering my eyes with it and messing up my hair while I was conducting the interview. I’m going to have to find a way to get him back for this one.
ROFL, it made my day.

No need to want that...he makes a fool of himself everyday starting at 3pm whether Alexia pans out or not.
