Spurs Add Brian Morrison and Malik Hairston

I quite like Hairston as a player but at this point it seems painfully obvious that the Spurs do not. Unless he shows a lot in preseason I see him getting the Marcus Williams treatment.

Morrison has a solid skill set but probably is simply too unathletic to compete in the NBA. He would be a really nice point guard for the toros though. Stranger things have happened with these unknowns though. Remember how pathetically bad CJ Watson was for us in summer league last year? Now he's in the NBA.

Why would they draft Malik if it seems like they have no interest in him at all?

They didn't really draft him, Phoenix did. The extra second round pick seems to be what they really wanted from that trade.
