Buckle Up!! Kobe Interview w/ Jim Hill

Post#1 » by Chubby Chaser » Tue Oct 7, 2008 6:49 am

Kobe sat down with Jim Hill today for a pretty lengthy interview. Good stuff, basically went over Summer, and expectations of this upcoming season.

(If it doesn't come up automatically. It's on "page 2" after all the Angels stuff.)

Also, you can find behind the scenes stuff for Lakers Media Day.

Best quote from the interview, when Kobe' asked about the whole playing over seas thing and evaluating it from a business point he says that it's "pretty hard to do separating me and LA. We come one in the same. Can't have one without the other) :rocking:

Dudes, I notice that frkn Kobe Bryant, who didnt even go to college, gives more thorough answers and speaks more fluidly than the Rep VP, Sarah frkn Palin.

Haha Ya! Sarah Palin is absolutely horrible. Her answers in the debate looked like she was answering questions in a Beauty Pageant with her "folksy talk" and her obnoxious winking and smiles. She'd be a perfect fill in for a mentos commercial but not to hold any position in the white house. If she looked like Barbara Bush there'd be no way anyone would vote for her. With that said. I'd take her down in a heart beat. :D

That is the most relaxed interview I've ever seen out of him... and yeah, "Buckle Up!" Heh.

It's nice that the Lakers are relevant again (last year, too), L.A. is a franchise that just makes the league better when it's good.

I hope Kobe can carry that relaxation and feeling of purpose and sureness through the season; it'd be great to see him continue on his current course and have another stellar season.
