Probably kind of like the way it feels when the Jazz kick your asses every year during the regular season, but a lot less crappy because it's preseason.

4 pts (1-1 FG, 2-2 FT) 6 asts 2 stls 2 to 18 mins.

Thats kind of what I expected from Hart last year.

Knight definitely outplayed Price tonight. I like his active hands on D.

I think Knight is going to get the nod over Price with Ronnie filling in spot minutes when the Jazz are low on energy and shooting.

But I completely agree, I really love that from our back up PG, 6 asts is golden and a couple of steals to boot. Don't need him shooting much.

And sorry Mcnamara and Muoneke, you had a good summer league, but this is a bit over your head right now. Pack your bags for Europe, see you next year.

Memo, Milsap and Deron were solid.

AK was active. As was Price, but he struggled at PG.

Brewer and CJ were ghosts out there.

Korver was a stud, didnt go out of his way to shoot like he did in LA.

Almond was solid also, but I would love for Matt Harpring, Hornacek etc. to teach this guy how to be effective within the Utah offense. I think he could be great, but he is just forcing a lot of shots. He also is not much of a rebounder(if at all) and I dont like that about him and CJ.

Fess had flashes on D, but he struggled on Offense.

Collins was Collins. Lyde was Lyde.

Muoneke was flat out garbage and showed why he has never made it in the league. In fact of all the fillers on our team Lyde is the only guy that could actually make it. I hope they cut Muoneke, just play Almond and Miles more.

Couldn't watch the game, but it seems that AK and Korver did well. I think we're all expecting a little more from CJ.

I'm just joking with you guys. Should be a fun year and can't wait for both our teams to meet in the regular season.

I love Ronnie Price, but I just dont know if he is ever gonna make it as a PG.

Seeing Dragic out there I wish we could have somehow drafted him over that no name guy that will never play here(not Tomic).

I guy like Dragic or Sergio Rodriguez would be great here.

Oh, and nice to see Knight having a good night. The inconsistency of our backup PG last season cost us some games. Knight might be a huge plus this year.
BTW, I'm watching the Lakers/Clippers game and either the Clips are defending the Lakers really well or the lineup of Fisher/Kobe/Odom/Gasol/Bynum doesn't work all that well. I know it's the first game they're playing together, but damn, they look horrible.

I'm watching Clippers/Lakers too (and Cannucks@Flames... I love this sport). I wanted to see Mobley and Thornton playing off Baron Davis. They're doing well it seems.

I could not find a streaming for the Jazz though... so I put the NBA Gamecast out there...
Did Fesenko played well on D? If that's the case may be he's causeis not lost.
Am I wrong or 5 of the 6 Knight assists went to Korver? It would be great if these two develope some on court chemistry.

I thought Fes did a decent job on Shaq. But, this is old Shaq. Not the Shaq Ostertag used to contend with.

I thought Fes should have had more rebounds. Got his hands on more loose balls. I wasn't terribly impressed with him. He did OK.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

I couldn't find a stream for the Jazz game either. Guess we'll know more about the game, once someone who was at the ESA writes their impressions. The Clips seem to be doing well, although Baron seemed to be ball-hoogging too much sometimes. I think they might make some noise this season.

Sloan is seriously killing me. WHAT IS HIS FASCINATION WITH THE DUAL PG's!?!??!?!?!??!?!? Seriously it doesnt work. He didnt play Price for a single minute as a PG tonight. With Brew, CJ, and Korver there is seriously no need to do this. I have not been impressed with Knight thus far. Price has no business out there guarding two's. Play PG's as PG's and SG's and SG's for the love of God.

Sub par night. Memo and AK and Deron played well when they wanted to.

What didn't you like about Knight tonight? 6 assists, a couple of points 2 steals. I don't think Derek Fisher ever had 6 assists with the Jazz and he was the best back up PG the Jazz have had since Eisley was young.

Knight's PG skills>>>>>>>Price's PG skills, and he's very good defensively.

Yeah, the Knight/Price combo is the wrong scapegoat for this game. I'm not sure what the right scapegoat is, but I actually like the knight/price combo so far. Scrappy defense and a shitton of steals. Obviously only usable against smaller or crappier backcourts. Could be very useful to disrupt the second unit of other teams though, especially if their ball-handling or passing skills are suspect.

I said I havent been impressed with him, doesnt mean he has been Jason Hart.

Here is the thing about Knight. I think he will always break even with this team. He will never do anything to hurt you, but never really do anything to push you to a win either. Ronnie Price, while some nights maybe a bit of a negative because his PG skills are not spectacular, I do believe that there are going to be games where his spark at the backup PG spot is going to lead to a win.

Knight is steady, Price brings a spark.

My other point was the 2 PG thing is (Please Use More Appropriate Word). Both players are rendered useless as a SG. We have 3 servicable SG's. We dont need a dude shorter then me playing that spot.
