I already read our board posts and like your post's here, always have a bit homerisim in them (nothing bad really, just how it is). So I was wondering if any of you had any comments so one that couldn't get to see the game have a more objective view of things.
BTW, did get to see ESPN's highlights (all of which were from the Lakers

) and Bynum looks scary now with that midrange game. I was following the play by play and though it was a typo when it said "turnaround jumpshot" for him.
Here's to keeping the WC between us two

well, here's what I recall:
Lyde- big body and kind of a nasty disposition. I don't know if he's mobile enough to see real minutes, but he could definitely be a tough guy and give some hard fouls.
Fes- didn't see much from him. He played well against us last year, but for this preseason game I didn't see much beyond the Milicic hair-do.
Okur- looked like he always does. outside stroke, maybe actually surprised me that he pick and rolled more than pick and popped.
Milsap- hungry hippo of rebounding
Brewer- was a dunk machine. He looks comfortable and aggressive. Most likely to make another leap forward I think.
AK- he's missing something out there for you guys. I'd say he doesn't want to be there anymore or he's bored of preseason. I'd trade him if there's a good deal out there. Even if he starts playing hard for another team and becomes a force again, you don't want that attitude on the team and you'd think you might get something that fits in return.
Thanks for the heads up!!
Really appreaciate it!!
On AK, well, the truth is something may have to go down next summer because of cap issues, but untill we are in a position to just "unload" him, we shouldn't give him away for less value, and honestly, I don't think there is any deal that would really make us better. Then you add the fact that he's among our "most veteran" players and has been the face of our franchise for at least a couple of years not to mention what he brings to the table with all his intangibles that really, I think we just play this season out and see what happens (unless he goes Shaq in the middle of the season or something).
Good luck!!
