Re: whats your starting day lineup?
I have Harris, VC, Simmons, Yi, and Boone.
I'm not a guy that likes putting CDR at the 2 because of his lack of the 3-ball or even the long 2s. Simmons was once an upcoming above average 3. If he gets back into form, I'll give him the nod over Najera, Hayes, and Anderson. Yi as tough as it is for me to say this, will start purely as a business move regardless if he plays below par or stars before day 1. Boone...well, I like him.
I think it'll be one of those seasons where we never really have a set 5 like the last few years where it's been Kidd, VC, RJ, Collins, Boone. I just want our guys to develop. Anyone notice Lopez and Yi didn't play vs the Heat?

Devin
vc
simms
sean
brook
That will give the nets scoring and shot blocking in the front court hopefully but probably only 11 rebounds between both of them.My first big off the bench would be Boone cuz he'll give us close to a doubledouble off the bench.CDR,Dooling and Yi in the rotation off the bench.Najera, anderson and hayes will get some minutes to or at least a chance.Swift, ager and hassel will wear suits.O yea and they have Gill's # the nets will call him if they need him.
Brook and Yi will get there chance to play Sunday.Lfrank split them up so he can see what all his bigs can do with a lot of minutes. Not a bad idea but i still don't like him.

I like
PG - Harris
SG - Carter
SF - Simmons
PF - Boone
C - Lopez
Yi can be used at the 3 or 4 as our sixth man
Dooling backs up at point
CDR backs up at SG
Jarvis spot duty
S Will mix and match at the 4 or 5 depending on match up but this kid needs to get some time
thats a 10 deep rotation most teams go about 9 or 10 deep so everyone else not metioned are there for injury purposes. I'm ready for the season to start already, I want to see the youth in action.

Re: whats your starting day lineup?
My dream starting lineup would be:
C-Boone
PF-Yi
SF-Najera/Hayes
SG-Carter
PG-Harris
Simmons looked way too slow out there and the other team constantly blew passed him on thursday. I'd be fine with either Najera or hayes out there for different purposes. Hayes can light it up on any given day while Najera hustles and defends either the 3 or 4.
I'd give Yi the first 6-7 games to hold his own, if he fails I'd move Boone to the 4 and let Lopez show us what he can do at Center.

Re: whats your starting day lineup?
totally forgot about simmons, i like him, and if he can gives 13-15pts a night he would be doin his fair share, remebr YI and Simms have to makeup for the lost production of RJ, we need them 2 to combine for 25pts in 40 min combined, kinda hard but hopefully they prevail...

Re: whats your starting day lineup?
Boone sucks . He'll be a career backup. Simmons is garbage as well , park his ass on the bench.
It should be
Harris - pg
Vince - sg
Yi - sf
Sean - pf
Lopez - C

Boone does not suck dude.
I agree, Simmons is garbage though.
It's amazing to think that guys like Simmons got the contracts they did.

Re: whats your starting day lineup?
^^To his defense he was actually pretty good when signed by Milwaukee. Injuries have killed him these past few years...
And no,,,Yi will not start at the 3...

yea i disagree, Boone is a solid player, and can average a dbl-dbl, and he especially good with rebounding, more so on the offense and is good at pick and rolls, yes he is not that atheletic, but that dosnt make him suck...

Re: whats your starting day lineup?
Unless Boone or Williams has improved enough offensively I can't see Lopez and Yi starting together, at least not initially... Those two can do a bit of scoring if you throw them the ball and ask them to create for themselves at least last season neither Boone or Sean Williams could (although Williams sure did try to create for himself at times =x).

Re: whats your starting day lineup?
I'm still standing by my position of not putting CDR at the 2. His range is very limited. I see him...pretty much what RJ was in his rookie year with less athleticism. Great slashers, great ball-handling (although both were prone to sloppy mistakes on certain plays), above average on the defensive end. But like RJ in his first year, his overall perimeter game on the offensive end leaves something to be desired. I think with a little more weight on, he could hold down some of the better 3s in the league.
