I mean yeah the team kinda sucks but to be a kid and actually be rewarded for your good grades is amazing. I'm so proud of them(too bad the magic are gonna kill the kittens, they should just let the 2 news guys play, bogans, cookie, patrick ewing and bring back pat garrity so to not let the kids down LOL as our effort to help the kids. while they play, our starters can sign stuff so they keep busy, who wouldn't want to meet superman?) Plus i doubt the bobcats will sellout their pre-season game, at least this way they will make a killing in the concessions bc kids love buying things.
Naw, man. I remember when the Magic used to do the Stay in School Jam. In middle school, if you had good grades, you got to go on a field trip to the O-Rena to watch the Magic practice/scrimmage mixed in with a whole lot of other things to watch. I got to see Penny, Nick, and Darrell do their thing and those blue dunking guys were there, too (IIRC).
I also remember the first year they did Junior Magic (at least I think it was the first year in 1993), I got to go see just the Magic practicing at the arena. That was also cool.
