Its 10:30 on a Thursday.

Not quite sure on the entire ticket situation, but the reason why its so early in the day is because local kids in the area that have a certain GPA [or something thing of that sort] will be allowed to attend as a reward.

Not sure if its a case with the entire of the seats and no tickets will be on general sale, I cant imagine they are bringing along 10k kids.

Will be an interesting game once again, I expect the bobcats to look a little better than they did last time, which lets face it was shocking.

The Charlotte game will be a bit different than most the Magic players are used to. Tip-off is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., as this will be the Bobcats' annual "Cool School Field Trip" pre-season game. Each year, local schools are invited to Charlotte's "Cool School Field Trip" game free of charge, and the Magic were invited to take part this year.

WOW they really do care about their community. That has to be the coolest thing i've ever heard a pro team do. I mean yeah the team kinda sucks but to be a kid and actually be rewarded for your good grades is amazing. I'm so proud of them(too bad the magic are gonna kill the kittens, they should just let the 2 news guys play, bogans, cookie, patrick ewing and bring back pat garrity so to not let the kids down LOL as our effort to help the kids. while they play, our starters can sign stuff so they keep busy, who wouldn't want to meet superman?) Plus i doubt the bobcats will sellout their pre-season game, at least this way they will make a killing in the concessions bc kids love buying things.

Naw, man. I remember when the Magic used to do the Stay in School Jam. In middle school, if you had good grades, you got to go on a field trip to the O-Rena to watch the Magic practice/scrimmage mixed in with a whole lot of other things to watch. I got to see Penny, Nick, and Darrell do their thing and those blue dunking guys were there, too (IIRC).

I also remember the first year they did Junior Magic (at least I think it was the first year in 1993), I got to go see just the Magic practicing at the arena. That was also cool.
