If I ever see Renaldo Hill in person, I'm going to assassinate him for dropping that pick that allowed the Texans to kick the field goal. You go to hell, Renaldo! You go to hell and you die!
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

1. Its pretty obvious, when we run the ball we win, when we don't, we don't

2. the improvement in the team is obvious
beating the chargers and pats, losing on the last play on 2 different occasions

3. fix special teams.

Much like the Dolphins, my thread-creating-winning streak is over. This one stings a bit though because it was a slap back into reality. We are waaaays away from being a contender. You can tell we are better up front on both sides of the ball (Tuna's main priority this past offseason) but our outside game on both ends as well is horrible.

Our secondary got exposed again by a talented receiver. Andre Johnson, much like Larry Ftizgerald and Boldin had a field day and a career game. Besides "solid" Will Allen and hard working Y. Bell, we stink. If we can manage to build depth next offseason via draft and free agency by finding a playmaker at CB, a solid nickel CB to compliment Allen and a Safety who can take a leadership role on the backfield, we should be on our way to respectability when going against the best receivers.

By the same token, Andre Johnson ALSO made us realize what we lack on offense. The "wildcat" is all nice and dandy, fun and should be part of our offense until it stops working but without being able to make plays from your base offense, it will become a joke very soon. Where are our receivers? Camarillo is a solid 3rd or 4th receiver. Right now he is heads over all other wide outs on our squad. Two of our projected starting receivers have been deactivated twice this season already and our projected number one receiver can't even get on the field to return punts and besides catching screen passes, he can't pickup 5 yards after the catch! When are we going to have our Andre Johnson?

I am all for trading Teddy Ginn and his family to Detroit with a pick for Roy Williams. The kid is not being utilized at what he does best (return kickoffs and outrun CB's on deep patterns). Since Bess is going to be returning kicks (not sure why?) and we don't have the QB with the arm strength to throw it to him and considering that he is just too unpolished as a receiver to ever be a factor on a Parcell team, maybe is time to see if he can get us something. Maybe Cincy would be interested? Either way, let's find us some true targets, give Hagan a pink slip as well for a 7th rounder if we can get that and let's bring in Armstrong who might prove to be a solution. Wilford? I am counting the days before he gets cut as well.

Our receivers suck, plain and simple.

Here is the problem with out WR!
1.Ginn-Yes he has been a bust, but what do you expect for a short, fast wr, who cant get a deep ball thrown his way? Ive watchen ginn many times, run a go route, where he burns the CB, to see Chad thrown to the short route. So while, Ginn may never be a number 1 wr, he has the tools to be a very good number 2, we just need a QB with a arm.
2. Wilford- The best thign he brings to the table is size! Which is great but what else does he do? Tony has gone for guys that play special teams aswell, instead of a WR with size. I feel that we are under using him more in lob passes and fade routes.
3.Hagan- This guy sucks and should be out of the league soon!
4.Greg Cam- This guy is decent, but is not a dolphins for long. He runs decent routes but is not a treat, unless your throwing 5 yard outs.
5.Bess- this guy is a dolphin for the next 5 years! Think of terry glenn and Tune all over again. Bess will be our slot receiver and put returner untill Tuna retires.

Return to Miami Dolphins
