players giants could sign this offseason

Rumors are that Giants are looking to deal for Dan Uggla, and it's even on wiretap. i know he isn't a good defender, (see All-Star Game, 2008), but he is a proven infield bat, something the Giants desperately need. I think it will take Sanchez + prospect to sign him.
Other rumors flying around are the brewers deal and cain for david wright. imo, i think the wright deal is best for the giants. he's a beast. obviously, though, mets wouldnt do that deal so the giants might have to give up a player along with cain in a trade. other than frandsen, sandoval, and burris, i'm willing to give up a young player. then again, our pitching staff would be lincecum, zito, and sanchez. we'd need two starters, and sabathia might cost too much to come here. So which player, or players, do you think it is possible for the giants to sign where they actually get better?

David Wright is a top 5 offensive player - the Mets aren't trading him.

We should just continue to draft well and develop the young talent.

We shouldn't overpay for anyone. If we have to Rowand or Zito someone to get them to play for us, then I'll pass on any huge moves this offseason.

Trade Sanchez for JJ hardy, trade Winn and call it a winter.
