FA's...signed..

Rory Johnson a 6-foot, 235-pound linebacker out of Mississippi.

The Packers also agreed to terms with 6-3, 315-pound guard Pat Murray of Division II Truman State and 6-2

Nothing on him yet.

Rory Johnson...I like this FA signing by the Pack

POSITIVES: Athletic linebacker who makes a lot of plays in pursuit. Breaks down well, plays with good balance and displays speed to the flanks. Slides off blocks, explodes up the field filling gaps and fluid moving in every direction.

NEGATIVES: More of a chase-and-run-down linebacker rather than a defender who forces the action. Easily handled at the point. Does not have a physical presence nor is he always willing to jump into the pile.

ANALYSIS: Offering potential as a weak-side linebacker, Johnson needs to improve his overall game and become more aggressive to have any chance of sticking at the next level.

PROJECTION: Late Fifth Round

Return to Green Bay Packers
