Aaron Brooks

Post#1 » by Komodo » Thu Oct 16, 2008 2:24 pm

Hey guys, I have a quick question on Brooks.

Judging by his box score it seems like he's doing okay so far in preseason. I am considering picking him up in my fantasy league (20 teams) as I'm light on point guards. He's an energetic little sparkplug, w/ good athleticism.

So, do you see him as your backup PG behind Alston (as opposed to Francis)? how many minutes/points do you see him getting?

Thanks.

Right now he is the backup pg , he has no competition.
Francis is not healthy and will not be a factor this year imo.

I see him getting about 7.5 ppg , 2.5 apg , 1.5 rpg in about 18 mpg during the season.

The only way Francis cracks the rotation this year is by an act of god.

(That could easily be someone's sig. Who's going to call me out?)

I'm not calling you out on it, but I'm in agreement and worried about the sanity of all the people who seem to expect it to be an inevitability, so in my sig it goes in place of [HOLY CRAP ITS A TEMPORARY PLACEHOLDER].

Brooks is the backup. Steve will either be released or traded as a expiring contract.
