Who gets cut

Post#1 » by El Duderino » Fri Oct 17, 2008 8:08 am

If Harrell gets activated Sunday?

Giacomini would be my guess and then the team hoping he clears waivers so he could be signed to the practice squad.

Lansanah crossed my mind, but those in charge seem to like him and wouldn't want th Dolphins to claim him if those rumors are true about interest.

Pettway might be possible if the team feels Montgomery will be back after the bye. If DE is the area the team targets for a cut, i wish Pettway had been given some shots to play vs Seattle so we could see if he has any pass rush skills because we already know Montgomery doesn't.

If Montgomery or Hunter still cannot play then one of them is put on IR or cut.
Or if one or both of them is healthy - then Pettway

They could always throw Brohm on the IR to make room as well. Wynn will probably get sent back to the practice squad.

brohm is going nowhere and they sure as hell won't go with 2 halfbacks all year.

two halfbacks? Grant, Jackson, Lumpkin. If push came to shove Brohm could be put on the IR. If they really were tight.

Lumpkin is on IR, which means done for the year.....so if I do the math Grant + Jackson = 2.

Actually you're wrong.

1+1=2

Grant + Jackson = Grant Jackson

i wouldnt be opposed to this. its time for kgb to go. he has been one of the most overrated defensive players in the league for a while now.

Yea he is worthless right now. That said, the Packers are so closed mouthed about injuries, it's impossible to know if one his knee is still bothering him and thus not allowing him to turn the edge on tackles and if so, is there any hope he'll get healthy at some point relatively soon? If so, then maybe he'll be able to provide some desperately needed pass rush. We already know that Montgomery couldn't pressure the QB even if he was being blocked by a tight end every down.

I agree with all you said, but KGB was worthless toward the end of last season as well and he has never ever developed another move to the QB except the speed rush. I also agree about Montgomery, I am disappointed that Hunter is hurt, I would give him the starting end spot because I think he would at least be serviceable without Jenkins.

It's easy to forget that KGB is even on the team anymore.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
